Hindered vs. Stun

How… how do they really think they can get away with this crap?

1.) ONLY TANKS CAN HAVE THE STUNS and the crowd control!

2.) Reworking the cowboy because the stun is NOT FUN OR FAIR AND PEOPLE HATED IT! We gave him a homing nade doing 130 damage! Its a lot more skillful

3.) Were reworking the cowboy again because the nade is not actually skillful and there needs to have more slow abilities to stop movement abilities… were making a new ability that will hinder enemies!

(theyre reasoning behind to why the cowboy needed change for this BEAUTIFUL SEQUEL GAME)

Hindering makes absolutely 0 sense and absolutely doesnt make any sense why you cant just make it a stun. Anyone who says this ability is more fun then his stun are liars and trying to stay on a good side because they want to be flown out to california for some reason.

Wait is that really an option?

Hinder is fantastic and much funner than stun. Please hinder me profusely.

Hindered punishs Mobile heroes more than immobile one(as it should, but a stun is stronger on immobile heroes)

As long as the amount of mobility exists, we need some form of cc to help stop it.

  • Flashbang removes all reactionary counterplay. You have to preemptively expect Cass to use flashbang and hope to not be hit by it. If you were, you likely lost an ability (hog breather, sigma grasp) or you were about to die to the follow-up (fan the hammer).

  • 130 burst doesnt’ immediately kill you, but you are as good as dead if cass lands the bodyshot and you have only a few situations to get saved from an incoming 130dmg burst (bubble, mass healing, fade, wraith, ice block).

  • The newest nade has some of the most counterplay. If you are hindered, you can still fight back (not stunned). You can still AD spam or keep firing to kill cass. The burst damage is only 70 not 130 meaning many sources can heal off the base 10 impact dmg. The only way for cass to kill you now himself is to double land the bodyshot or land a headshot. The tracking on mag nade is now not as explosive as flashbang nor as quick as its first iteration. It’s actually possible to use a movement ability to dash away if you see it coming out.

The only problem is that players perceive the CC from hindered as more powerful than the first two. Which really hindered is the least powerful CC cass has had, the least lethal, There are only 2 characters who really, really hurt from this which is doomfist/ball.

Every other character isn’t as dramatically impacted by this.
