I noticed today after the Sep 8 update my highlights won’t play on my PS5. The loading highlight shows, the progress bar completed and then it hangs there.

same thing for me, but i’m on PC so i think is a problem of the game itself not the console D:

PC. I have the same problem.The loading highlight bar progresses but it gets stuck right at the end.Same thing happens when trying to save it.Both POTG and normal highligths are affected.

Also the replays don’t show up at all

I can confirm that highlights/replays don’t work from the recent section. Saved highlights (saved to my system previously) work fine still. Unable to view new highlights and unable to save highlights. It tries then just sticks, you have to esc/cancel to get back. And the highlight stays unviewed.

Okay, some updates.
Played some VS Ai, using Widowmaker and the new Mythic. Most of the highlights played, but one POTG would not, nor could I save it. Every highlight with Miz wouldn’t work either.
So… Hit or miss apparently?

Same thing for me, PC - battlenet client ( not sure if same thing happens on Steam but i would assume it does as it’s game itself)

A bit of new info.I tried again to watch a highlight and decided to wait as long as it takes and after waiting for some time i just lost connection to the server.

I have the same problem on steam rn. I cant watch the most recent highlight but all other ones are working.
But I can watch my POTG in the ingame replay, just not in the highlights section.

Wait same, like I could look at every other one I had today but only the one I played on blizzard world was bugged

Can confirm here too - for the last few days - highlights not loading and I cannot record.
Still not fixed - Aatlis fails and new queen street fails - numbani works
Runasapi doesn’t save or let you watch too
Doesn’t seem to be map dependent for me, but it might be hero dependent. I will have to pay closer attention to see. I was thinking it was because of Mizuki being in the game at the time.
But I have only had a few games were the highlight didn’t work.
And I had exactly one play of the game that I could watch, but I could not save. Which was even weirder.
Just played a couple games. The one game that had Mizuki in it, would not play the highlight and it was on Paraiso. Game on Samoa without Miz worked fine.
I think any game with Miz in it will be bugged and not save or view.

Managed to save reaper / havana not working on others - I have a few to save will try again in a bit.

Yes! I have had 2 specific highlights that I cannot view as it gets to the end of the loading bar and does not move. The second one was on Rialto which I think could’ve been the first but I’m not sure - can anyone else confirm?
Those that fail, check to see if Mizuki was present in the match at any point on any team.
Just had two matches. One on Shamboli with Mizuki, won’t play. One on Havana, no Mizuki. Plays fine.
I had a Wuyang play on Ilios that could not be watched or saved either, but the Replay still works. Seeing a few replies say it is due to there being a specific hero present such as Mizuki, and my game happened to have one when the highlight occurred.
