Highlights don't save when using GeForce Now

As users “tylerdembo” and “DarkTechnite” both talked about in the old forums, I also use GeForce Now to play Overwatch with decent quality on my non-gaming laptop.

Everything about it was fine except recently I started trying to save some highlights. After saving the highlight, the file did not appear on my computer. The “videos” folder is supposed to be created after saving my first highlight but it never did. Also, if I quit the game and come back immediately, my entire highlights section is completely cleared, even though it has only been ten minutes since I got a highlight.

If anyone has any idea how to solve this issue or at least who to contact for help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there Xingdom,

Geforce Now functions by actually running the game on a remote computer and streaming the video to your PC. It’s most likely that the highlights are being saved on that remote, Nvidia Controlled computer rather than your own. This would be something to talk to Nvidia about to see if maybe they can code in a way to send those files to people.

I’m not completely familiar with the things you’re allowed/able to do with Geforce Now, but as a work around you could try using Battle.net’s facebook streaming feature, or running a streaming app yourself while you play to record the hilights. I’d again contact Nvidia support for help with setting that up if you get stuck.
