My highlights and POTGs do not load properly.
The highlight intro is perfectly fine. After that, the actual replay starts and the sound effects are not synced. Sometimes the animations just don’t happen. For example, firing shots with Doomfist looks like it could be from his beta test. Sound is off and there is no recoil or “reload” animation, just stuff flying out of his hand.
It’s frustrating because I love to save my POTGs that I’m proud of. Just got one with Pharah (whom I barely use) and you can’t even tell that I stopped two ults with my quadruple elimination and escaped a third with a well timed concussion blast because none of those characters are rendered in. The sound effects aren’t synced up and the one character that is rendered in is the enemy Brigitte. I guess I’ll have to save the last fifteen minutes (on PS4) and go back to trim the video down to just the play. I won’t have a highlight intro if I do it that way but at least you can tell what’s happening. PLEES HALP

I’m so glad it’s not just me with this issue. I’ve noticed this for well over a year (I’m also PS4). It seems to happen more with certain heroes for some reason, like they don’t render in and looks like your invisible or shooting at nobody. It’s so annoying when i want to save a good highlight or Play of the game

Just logged back in to see if the “Client Requested Disconnect” after loading a highlight has been addressed and it appears they know about it BUT 1 out of 3 highlights STILL have this topic’s problem. It just doesn’t look as cool when I use Hazard’s ult on a Roadhog, Kiriko, and Mercy but all you can see is the Kiriko.

I worry that the problem won’t ever be fixed. Someone said somewhere that it could be due to old hardware? I find that hard to believe because it used to play fine at the start of OW2

I really think it’s just a result of something they’ve added or changed and they just haven’t prioritized finding the solution because it’s just you and me bringing it up hahaa I just logged back in to see if the “Client Requested Disconnect” after loading a highlight has been addressed any further but thought I’d stop here to moan about this absolutely amazing Zarya replay I just saved. Thank the Old Gods for the kill feed because NONE of the enemies rendered in. Just slayin’ invisible antagonists…lame.

I’m having the same issue. I can’t save my POTGs or Highlights, however is kinda weird because just like an hour ago I was able to save 2 POTGs, then decided to see other 2 highlights and finally when I was to save another one, the game failed with “Client Requested Disconnect”

I logged back in today after the new update. I didnt think it was possible but for me it actually got worse. Went to load PotG i got with DVa, highlight intro didn’t even play, got a black screen instead and then the sound was all off/messed up as well

Yeah, I’m getting black screened now too. It’s pretty frustrating. Gonna go play FragPunk now, I guess. I’ll check back in a week or so.

I’ve made a new report, considering the black screen is a new bug. One can only hope it might get fixed one day

I’m getting this as well, especially with the new D.VA Lesaraphim skin? I could save my other ones fine, but the DVA ones just aren’t loading?

Yeah D.Va was one of the characters i first noticed it with when the bug first happened. For me it now seems to effect quite a few different heroes

Mine does that too but recently it’s just been a black screen. No highlight intro whatsoever it’s ridiculous

Wondering if anyone is still having this issue and then additional issues? My highlights still aren’t showing up at all under game reports and POTG after every game is just a black screen, I also have no kill cam feed.

Glad I’m not alone with this. Still annoys me now, the black screen issue makes it worse. Hopefully they acknowledge it soon and get it fixed

The fact it’s gone unfix for 2 weeks is crazy to me. Mine started acting like that 2 weeks ago now. It’s a qp issue as classic clips fine for me

I kinda noticed this as well, only seems to happen with quick play/comp games. But when i had a highlight from the classic game mode it worked fine
