I play overwatch on the switch and lately when I get POTG or watch a highlight, it does not load completely. I can view my in-game surroundings in the highlight intro but I am unable to view the hand and weapon of the character I am playing for majority of the highlight. I want to share my POTGs on social media and with friends but the bug makes them more difficult to view.

Im having a very similar problem. It doesnt show my hero or most other heroes on either team for the majority of the highlight. Sometimes the animation never loads and other times you can see them for a split second and they disappear again.
The highlight intro is perfectly fine though, and there’s no problem with the audio either. You can hear the movements and abilities of everyone even when you can’t see them. This happens with the full replays as well as the highlights.
we are still having this problem halfway through April. mine started off like that but its now evolved to the intro itself not loading and assets loading in as glowing orbs or not at all.
