My friend (whom lives close to me) gets a lot of ping spikes whenever she queues with me. When she solo queues her ping is fine. We live very close so it’s not an issue of long distance. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else? It doesn’t happen to me. This probably isn’t an Overwatch thing strictly but still thought it would be helpful if I posted here.
Do you also use comms through a different program (like skype or discord)? It might be that the game in combination with that program is eating too much CPU and/or bandwidth, or both programs are just interfering with each other for whatever reason.
Maybe she connects to a different server?
