I recently came back to OW2, and I’ve been experiencing minimum 80ms ping, despite never really having that issue before. I tried scanning and repairing the game, and reinstalling Battlenet, but it didn’t help. I have gigabit internet (at least gigabit download, upload is 40 mbps.
I’m connected to the router directly with Ethernet, so there shouldn’t be a concern with Wifi. I also tried port forwarding, but that didn’t help either. The only real difference with my setup to the last time I played is that I recently installed some security cameras with an NVR connected to the router, but I don’t see how that can be causing connectivity issues considering they’re not really uploading any data to the internet except for when I decide to watch the cameras, but then I also curiously only have high ping with OW2.
