High Latency Today

I have been having high latency today off and on. Generally I am around 40-50ms, but today have been 250-300. It appears a Blizzard server in the Netherlands is misbehaving.

Okay, that’s normal for those IPs to respond with a high value since they deprioritize ping. What does the rest of the test look like? have you run a WinMTR?

I have never had ping that bad with those routers, so this is something new. Additionally there’s a 100% packet failure rate at the router between 137.221.65.122 and 137.221.68.77.

That’s a hub ignoring your test. If 100% of packets were lost, your connection wouldn’t make it to the server/you wouldn’t be able to login.

The test shows a 55ms average ping and worst of 61ms.
