How do you hide your top three characters and their levels in game?
I’ve already turned Streamer Mode on and enabled Hide Progression, which is what most posts online recommend. I’ve also enabled anything else that looked relevant, like Hide Progression and Hide Rank on Portrait from Others, but people can still see that my character is level 200.
Stop giving a crap what others think.

Mute chat and leave VC. You don’t need those to rank up. You don’t need those period. If you play with friends just use group VC

Yup and when I moved it to private I always told people “watch, someone’s going to try to use it as an insult or to whine.” You proved the point. The profiles private because I was mitigating a stalking issue. Not because I was getting wrapped up in my feels over someone else’s mouth.

Do you have hide rank on portrait from others on as well?
Literally just private profile. And they can’t see any of it
If you’re not willing to do that then mute people or just ignore what random people in a video game say
I double checked this is marked “On” as well. 
its under Career Profile visibility advanced options, not streamer mode.
You need to make profile public for the advanced options to be adjustable and then set it back to private.

This is my last ditch. I was hoping I could send in a support ticket but I can’t they directed me here.
I think somebody said a while back that you have to have your name hidden too? I could be wrong though. I know there’s a way. Just seems like you have to have a few different things turned on. There was a post ages ago about it and there were a lot of answers if you still can’t figure it out
I agree, that the information needs to be fully private.
Stat trolls have been complaining for years on this forum that they want to see their fellow player’s stats because you know, counter swapping for them is easier and they want some sort of clarity to their rage.
”Well, i lost because the persons i was against were higher level than me”.
“Well i lost because the persons on my team were lower level than me”.
“I now have a reason to rage in chat at people on my team and flame them”.
“i have a good reason to bully this person because I get to see their stats”.
Blizzard opening up some of those points again is really a move for them to reinforce their ban happy business model. They are relying off of you being bullied some way or another by the other player that is obcessed with your stats, so they force your hand to report them for abuse. It helps open up chat abuse reports, griefing reports and makes the gears on the ban machine work better.
I personally hate the idea of open profiles, and stuff like that. Because its added toxicity we don’t need here.
I don’t have an answer, but I’m also looking for this information. If there’s no way in the game right now, it should definitely be added.
If you are on Streamer mode, that is all you need to hide your levels. All the other stuff you turned on isn’t necessary. If your levels can still be seen then it’s a bug. Keep in mind you will still see your own levels on Streamer mode btw. It only hides it for others.
