as a support its noticeable i cant forget to check on widow half as much as i do any other teammate, its not the harshest nerf in the world but it was never meant to be in the first place just something to make it easier to get rid of her in game which it does

Maybe something radical like reduce her headshot multiplier or reduce the maximum charge of her rifle or both.

Widow will never be balanced as long as she has a oneshot, but the chances of that being removed are practically zero.

Is this some low tier joke I don’t understand? Her going down by 25hp had a noticeable effect on how diveable she is and how impactful poke damage is against her or how easy it is to one-clip her as a Tracer or one-combo her as Genji/DF
That being said it didn’t make her less broken regardless. Her being able to stare at an area and effectively kill all the squishies before they can even react to it with absolutely no back and forth or pro-active reactions aside from Mercy Rez is what makes her very problematic. If the map design was built so that you could actually approach objectives without going through open spaces she wouldn’t be so problematic, but the fact that she can zone massive areas and then switch onto another area through Grappling Hook in nearly all the maps is why she’s so strong. Imagine having such open maps in games like Valorant. It would destroy the game initially
Yeah, it’s a pretty pointless nerf. Did nothing to combat the actual problem, a character that can instakill you from halfway across the map before you even realize she’s there.
Honestly i didn’t think Widow was that much of a problem until i started a Competitive match again.
Havana going towards the end checkpoint as attack, enemy Widowmaker literally sniping off 2-3 people from my team. Literally had to keep on waiting so we could regroup, getting to the WIdowmaker was even harder because she can literally have sight on our spawn and there is no place to flank without them noticing.
Imo that’s also bad map design though hey it’s also Widow here creating a big issue.

Yup, it did nothing. Her unassisted, non-boosted headshots need to do 95% of a squishy’s health (not tracer). Either that or put the bat signal on the end of her gun.
All we need is for faster metas specifically Lucio to come back. Also we need more heros like D.Va who can directly contest her on high ground.
The faster the engagement, the less time Widow has to get picks and the harder for the enemy team to kite and avoid close range engagements (brawl)
If you hard engagw with a widow on you’re team you’re practically down a DPS and are missing a lot of damage. It puts a lot of pressure on the Widow to hit her shots.
