Well… Yeah? Leaving comp games, a mode without backfill, is bad?
That’s not nice. That’s being a passive aggressive jerk.
Nobody who asks these sorts of questions wants an actual answer. They just use those questions to get a response from someone so they can start flaming.
If you are genuinely curious about why they ulted, ask them why they ulted(IE: “hey, why did you ult there?”), instead of why they misplayed(IE: saying “why did you waste your ult” ). One is a genuine question, the other is passive aggressive.

I’ve the same experience NattyK, and the same thought. I’m gradually playing fewer and fewer matches because of the overall matchmaking experience.
I’m starting to believe that the scoreboard is playing a part in how people play as well. The people going solo and ignoring the calls to group up a little, generally seem to be the ones chasing eliminations above all else…even their own survival. I see more 20 elims 25 deaths type players than I care to count.
The other issue is all the leavers. I used to think it was an issue in OW1, but in OW2 it’s at a whole new level. I’ll watch entire teams cycle in out over the course of a match. It’s rare to get a match without leavers, or people who won’t pick a character, or who just sit in spawn until they get kicked, or openly throw (run out, die, sit in spawn, run out, die, sit in spawn).
I’m trying to “like” OW2 but the Devs are making it hard.

The reduction to 5v5 only worsened the effects of this too. At least 6v6 added a potential for the other tank to make up the damage

matchmaker is broken because no one wants to queue support, thats all it is. Stylosa said they need to add incentives to queueing support like battle pass xp etc. I think they just need to make the support heroes fun. I can’t remember the last time I had fun playing support, and I try to play a few games a day lmao

It’s either DPS fun or support fun, as those are opposites. And you can guess, who gets short end of the stick.

dps players benefit from a healthy and strong mercy because she enables dps play and dps-oriented metas so i really dont understand why dps mains constantly shoot themselves in the foot by saying mercy is fine tbh. The game is more fun for everyone when mercy is fun
Same players hate Mercy and want her to be erased from existence.
As games are very not fun for DPS with Mercy, since Mercy is only hero with ability to undo death itself.
Sour irony, that support specialised on supporting DPS is despised by them.

Not trying to simp for the devs right now, but I feel like the influx of new players has been messing with matchmaking, and it will stabilize by the end of season one.
Honestly it’s baffling, the fact that there was a problem with people being hard stuck bronze 5 makes me believe there is bronze players in gold+. The match making is just so horribly broken.
Imagine solo queueing and then complaining about the random teammates you get…
Lower your expectations. Form or join a group if you have no tolerance for a random experience.

They need to put new players in bronze and make them work up than. There is zero excuse for having so many stomp matches one way or the other.

No, because she reverses their kills. Role focused on kills vs support focused on undoing kills 
And while yes, DPS benefit most from second chances, they are also ones, that get most frustrated by them.
Everyone quick to forget time they were brought back to life, but not when their hard earned kill comes back from the grave and gets their revenge.
im silver and was put into a plat game
then the very next game im there still silver with a bronze on the enemy team and a plat on mine…its so unenjoyable - havent played in weeks
It’s happening more often I played a game yesterday against a bunch of brand new players I actually tried in vain to get my team to chill.it was clearly their first game in one of the cases may have even been there first FPS game. Our team just effortlessly rolled over them it wasn’t even funny

I am player of plat border - 1500+ hours in OW1 and I get matched with total newbies. Yesterday it was Mercy, who was not moving, so she got picked by a Widow A LOT and she never used blue beam or ress. This is just one example of many, that´s happening daily. It´s not fun for players like me to deal with this on daily basis and I belive it´s not fun for newbies either - being bullied by other players, cause they don´t know the game. Do something with this, please…

I tried to play more comp, thinking the experience would be better, but it’s not improved in any way. I really try to like this game, but these devs are not making it easy.
