i dont think blizzard can rly do anything. ive played with some bronze- plats with over 2k hours thats still make the same mistakes over and over. you try to suggest to adjust and they just tell you to shut up.
This is the same issue until mid plat. Everyone, the whole playerbase is affected

They can make playing correctly fun, for instance. At the moment itâs not.
its a team based game, i think one of the biggest mistakes new players make, is that they expect to carry everything by themselves.

Itâs how literally all team based FPS games work.
you kinda have to do that in lower elo.
Its gotten to the point where i have almost 0 fun playing the game. game queues me with people who just downloaded the game or people who think its funny to throw a comp game if i pick a hero they wanted. matchmaking is incredibly broken atm

The devs dont come here and they certainly donât read posts here. The only thing they do is come down to rake the latrine by leaving dev updates here. Then they go back to reddit or twitter to read posts and make comments.

at least your lucio speed boost; i had an experience where a lucio that left me to heal solo, while they are busy wall riding away from the objective; dealing very little contribution around team. when i point blank asking him why were theyâre being inactive; they said âi did destroy torbâs turret!â i canât. felt like a dps trolling as a support at that point.
1000% either they give us back the ability to know whom we are being matched or enable unlimited ban list. this is just purely redundant. asking them to group up, got ignored. i heal them at many crunch points with a reaper hot on my tail; they did not defend me (the sole reason they get to play longer) and left me dead, dead and dead. i avoided the heat many times, i even had my incomprehensible support who opt to keep swapping support heroes just to ask me to âchillâ at the end when they alternate in choosing the best and worse support and still heal below all supports combined (opponentâs and mine). my heal score are like those who find in decent comp matches; just to put lightly how much the difference of an impact i am trying to portray.
the game itself is already not a paradise for true support. then we had to content with new players, higher rank player who were boop to lower tier and then be blindfolded to play in that awful broken match system. all while they didnât even give us unlimited ban list to at least avoid matching with.

For my part, I like Overwatch and Overwatch 2 as much but I am also not very satisfied with the experience that the game offers us currently. It is clear that we need changes and novelties for PvP but for me the big part that is missing to avoid getting bored is PvE.
or, and hear me out: work with what you get and use communication to lead and manage less experienced players. i do it in my games. it works. sometimes it doesnt. but that doesnt keep me from trying. you would be surprised how many super rusty or even new players are in plat and diamond who have absolutely no clue what they are doing and need leadership.
Blizzard 100% knew this would happen.
My wager is they some how didnât think of Queue times when deciding to switch to 5v5 some how, and it was too late to go back.
The answer ? Hide Levels/Borders, Ranks and let the Matchmaking system do what it can to get into matches as quick as possibleâŚalbeit making games a terrible experience.
At best, it will try to give each team the same amount of inexperienced/poor players.

I just decided im no longer playing ow2 untill they fix it. i played 10 games today and one 1 and its because people play tank and sit behind our whole team then do nothing the whole game also im out damaging my dps as a support player.
i won a majority of my qp games and for some reason im being placed with the worst players every game. it is impossible for me to enjoy ranked when everyone on the enemy team seems to get the best players for their role and my team seems to not know how to even approach their role. role que should only let you play as a specific role if you do well with that role. if not you have people in que not knowing how to play their character or what they should even be doing. also why can people leave games without being penalized harder. they literally lose someone the game and just cant que for a little bit. if you leave a game you should be automatically placed in a que with everyone else who has been reported or left games in the past. ive played 10-15 comp games 7-8 of those i had people either throw the game on purpose or just leave the game. its actually the worst comp experience ive had in any game ive played

like it actually makes me feel like a stupid person for even trying to enjoy a blizzard game in 2022. down right embarrassed to say I enjoyed blizzard in the past. this is the worst decline in development I could ever imagine. the company would be in a better state if it stopped making games after wrath of the lich king

I played two particularly delightful games last night. (that was sarcasm) Game one as Rein. I had 32 elims, 21k hero damage, Mitigated 32k damage. The highest elims by DPS was 19 from the two of them. One of them died 18 times the other died 14 times. And when we finally lost in overtime they flamed me for being trash. Iâll be honest I laughed at them.
The second match my son and I were playing. He played Mercy and ended the match with 29k healing. I played Moira and ended the match with 21K healing, between us we did more than 14k more healing than the other team combined. This was also a loss. And we were fervently told that we got heal diffed by two dps that had a COMBINED total of 19 elims.
Yeah I have to agree Comp is SUCH an enjoyable experience these days. I know new players have to learn the game. But FFS couldnât we put them in a training wheels group with an experienced guide or something? There is zero excuse for pairing them with players that have 1k hours or more in a game. For reference my son and I combined have over 5k hours in OW and we were clearly playing with toddlers. It is ridiculous.
