We’ve seen Reyes, and my understanding of “Reaper” is that he’s just a mess of rapidly decaying and regenerating cells so… Not too much to see.

What are wanted Posters usually based off of if a picture isn’t available? An eye witness report.
Someone could’ve literally described Roadhog as having a Pig face, technically be correct, and the result was that poster. We have yet to see Mako’s real face.
On topic though, it’s something pretty nasty if Ana’s expression on seeing his face was anything to go by

In the bastet story Reaper’s face was described as „destroyed“
It is not. His face is exposed and he is only wearing sunglasses.

Stuff like that is better as a mystery. I got annoyed when they revealed Sombra’s name.
You can see a bit of his face on some of his splash art, his eyes to be more specific

it’s about the destroyed aspect, not what he really looks like
those are skins before his… “issue”
it’s about how his face looks now that it’s a destroyed, decaying mess, and, actually now that i think about it, we don’t see ANY part of his skin
considering his cells are “constantly decaying and regenerating”, it might even be possible that even his skin itself is actually constantly shifting, even ever so slightly, or looks as though something’s moving under it, or something
so, people want to see what THAT might look like, could make for an intense legendary skin
