A tier - mercy, ana, tracer, d.va, brigitte, reinhardt, symmetra, mei, sojourn
B tier - kiriko, soldier 76, echo, reaper, orisa, junkerqueen, zarya, baptiste,
C tier - cassidy, torbjorn, juno, genji, illari, bastion, junkrat, lucio, lifeweaver, hanzo, zenyatta, freya, rammatra, mauga
D tier - sigma, roadhog, wrecking ball, winston
F tier - doomfist, venture, hazard

how did i come up with my list? this is exactly my playtime from most to least lol… i mean we are all biased i am sure… :wink: its my “opinion” and im sure we alll have our opinions on who “DESERVES” the meta or high tier rank

what is your list? i dont care since its your “OPINION” as well. i am sure most are different and we all have different opinions

this ban system may be good in the fact that it shows who people like the most and as we all know sombra is F tier. im ok with that i guess since hey its a majority vote, even tho i really love sombra…oh well…

of course the bans will change depending on which hero is strong a certain season so maybe its not a good metric?

anyways… who do you think DESERVES to be the top dawg

S Tier - Nobody
A Tier - Nobody
B Tier- Most Heroes
C Tiers - Heroes with funky designs who are just not built for every situation and that’s okay.
D Tier - Nobody
F Tier - Genji.

Reasons: In general I don’t feel that any hero “deserves” to be better than any other, but I grudgingly admit that some heroes are too niche to be consistently balanced across scenarios.
I placed Genji in F Tier because if his mains think he’s garbage, that means he’s probably actually balanced.

I think a large portion of the playerbase wants Rein to be meta but I think that it would be an absolute snoozefest. He can be fun when he’s difficult to play and there’s nuance to his abilities.

When he’s OP I bet people would complain more about a Rein meta than a Orisa or Mauga one.

Tracer, D.va, Winston, Hazard, Kiri, Juno and Lùcio

Idrc about the in between tiers

F tier
Genji, Ana, Ball, Ashe and Pharah

Blanket statement….heroes with the highest skill ceilings should be meta…likewise heroes with the lowest ceiling should never approach it

Think that is the healthiest way for any game with hero options to work.

Best 5v5 tier list:

S tier: Hog, Mauga, Orisa, Bastion, Torb, Mercy, Lifeweaver, Brig, Moira
F tier: Ana, Zen
B tier: everyone else

that is kind of an opinion as well since whos to judge which is which

some people may think the highest are moira, reinhardt and reaper
while the lowest are doomfist, genji and tracer

of course im kidding about that, moira has to be the lowest hehe… even tho she is my main support i wont kid myself

Nobody would play your version of OW. You’ve basically taken some of the most hated heroes and suggested they should be meta - widow and sombra are 2 of the most disliked heroes to play against while symm and mei are hated by tanks (and ana by half players of half the tank roster).

Good luck getting anyone to play with those choices.

Realistically, I would say:

S tier - Tracer, Ana, Juno, Lucio
A tier - Kiriko, Junker Queen, Echo
B tier - Illari, Junkrat, Zenyatta, Winston, Mercy, Brig, Genji
C tier - Sojourn, Zarya
D tier - Wrecking Ball, Freja, Lifeweaver, Hazard
F tier - Roadhog, Doomfist, Torbjorn, Bastion (matches feel significantly better without these heroes)

Other heroes not listed - I do not know where to put them tbh

Nah, little miss precious with her skillless GTFO ability, and her cheap AF invincibility need to go into the wood chipper.

Same with Juno, don’t want her flying around shooting homing missiles at all times.

All aim heroes A tier, which is pretty close to what it is now feelsgoodman besides Tracer being boosted don’t count her as an aim hero tho

I think all ‘aim heroes’ should be in super F tier because they have guaranteed damage, you click on someone and the bullet teleports into them, it’s instant damage.

Junkrat should have a 500 damage direct hit, since he should be rewarded for actually hitting a damn thing.

And Sombra gives everyone lung cancer and empty bank accounts simply by existing near them.

Kiriko overdosed on donuts and is removed from the roster.

I already know you can’t aim or play any aim hero

This is an fps, the highest amount of skill is aim. Not your broken abilities/ ultimate’s, raidboss boosted tanks

I’d argue aim is one of the lesser skills below positioning and cooldown management.

For someone like Freya, who has no cooldowns and can position herself literally everywhere, the only skill expression she has is aim.

No Patrick, explosive spam the size of Zenyatta’s hitbox isn’t skill expression.

Untelegraphed mid-air omnidirectional teleportation isn’t either.

Someone who isn’t a VIP at :musical_note: Weenie Hit Jr. Incorporated :musical_note: who plays a real character like Reinhardt, doesn’t focus on aim at all outside of hitting a pesky Pharah with Firestrikes (because you sure as Hell aren’t hitting the teleporting house fly on ketamine that is Freya).

Reinhardt’s positioning and shield health management are far more important skills to master.

hmm i can see that so… aim heroes are

widowmaker - i think the highest aim hero?
cassidy - not like widow but high damage and short/mid
ashe - almost like widow
freya - also almost like widow
sojourn, soldier and bastion - machine gun style hitscan
tracer and sombra - smg type guns…hitscan
reaper - shotgun hitscan
hanzo - projectile sniper high damage almost widow level

then you have supports
ana - like widow but less damage since support
juno - smg gun healer… does have an auto-aim ability :wink:
kiriko - knife throwing girl. not hitscan but aim dependant
illari - future style star wars gun… heh

tanks
mauga - machine gun tank
rammatra - sort of aim since that staff laser thing

really if you think about it ALL heroes require aim except for some few like symmetra, mei moira, reinhardt…

well rein aims with the firestrike thing… so aiming there
symemtra has to aim with right click
mei has to aim with icicles

so they aim too

moira is the only kind of not aim at all hero

Hi, devil’s advocate here, but Moira needs to aim her orbs so they bounce off walls effectively.
