Despite having owned and played Overwatch since before the first competitive season, most heroes are locked for me in Overwatch 2. My account still has cosmetics, voice lines, player icons, etc. unlocked from the previous game, however.

Same Problem for me. Kinda botched my comp since all the Heroes I played in OW1 are now locked.

Far as I can tell, just put it here and hopefully they’ll get around to it. Just had to play a competitive match off-queue, off-hero lol.

Same here, got really PO’d for a sec thinking it was intended that an old player was supposed to potentially play up to 150 games to unlock their main

It sucks because I know I merged my os4 account with Battle.net and yet absolutely nothing carried over. All my skins, my gold guns, everything is gone…

I haven’t been able to get in yet, but my friend is currently having this problem too. Took me forever to find anything on it so here is to hoping that they address this soon.

I have the same issue, was hoping they would have a few of these things sorted out
when I first logged in everything was there it wasn’t until my 3rd game that all heroes were locked.
same here, im very frustrated as earlier today i was able to play all of them.

I couldn’t go Sigma or Brig, my go-to heroes

Same workaround as for the missing skin: Change region in the launcher, log in, change back to your region, done.
Worked two times for me and for everyone else too.

I had a similar experience. But I only played one game with heroes unlocked. After that, I got locked out.
Same issue with me as well, so annoying.
Thank you, this is the first solution I’ve heard of. But just now after logging back in before trying this, it appears my heroes were fixed (in the main menu, then the game crashed before I could play a match lol)

Having the same issue. They were all unlocked earlier today, but now I have a lot of them locked for some reason.
