There is a correct answer.
They are ALL easy to useā¦Just hard to masterā¦At least for me anyway.
-Genji
-Doomfist
These are the easiest heroās to get value from
Letās just answer Mercy or Moira (throw Brig in there here and there) and end this conversation, as we all know this is coming.
The end. Thanks for the conversation.
Trainer Bot.
Dude is a 0 star hero after all.
How is Genji easy to use?
Beginners with genji and doom = jump into a 6 enemy team pack and get deleted.
INSANE value
Prob Mercy, moira and maybe Brig.
Junk, mei, torb are pretty easy to pick up as well imo.
Itās definitely not Pharah. I just canāt learn the multi-tasking required to concentrate on staying afloat and on hitting targets at the same time.
None.
Without a team working together all heroes are bad.
Sorry but no hero exists in a bubble and can just be āpicked upā and get value out of without playing the hero first.
Is this going to turn into a ā[insert hero here] iz brain ded plz nerf!!1!ā thread? Because that would be lame.
Anyway, Iād say the easiest really depends on what your background is. S76 is easiest if you have a background shooters. If you donāt, a non-aim intensive hero would be easiest, such as Brig or Moira, or maybe even Rein. Supports are also good if you come from strategy games or rpgās because you would have a good grasp on resource management.
DPS: Reaper or Junkrat
Tank: Reinhardt or Orisa
Support: Moira or Lucio
I donāt think any of these heroes are āBrain Deadā or anything. They just have very low skill floors.
Honestly? Reinhardt.
Because you literally hold M2, walk forward, then M1. Thatās it. Instant value.
People like to rag on Moira & Mercy, but honestly their skill floors donāt generate as much value as Reinhardt and really arenāt any easier to pick up. As much as folks exaggerate, Moira does require some sense of aim even at the skill floorāRein doesnāt.
Now, obviously the M2+W+M1 technique falls off in value somewhat rapidly, but thatās moving away from the āpick up and get value fromā stage and into the rest of the skill curve.
Sure dude
I would also say that I think the heroes that are easiest to pick up have some of the best designs. I mean, Lucio is already good in Bronze and can be advanced all the way to GM. You can play him as your first newbie hero and your top professional hero. How good of a design is that, you know?
See Iād say Lucio, switch to yellow song, stand in middle of team, profit.
Rein at least has the deathtrap of Charge. Lucioās only mistake early is staying on speed song or never standing with his team.
Mccree, Soldier, Widow
Reddit Lucio is truly the equivalent of the yolo charge Rein.
Yea, he really is. Especially when you can tell theyāre trying to imitate some sick GM+ Lucio boop play they saw and they can hardly wallride.
Like, bud just stand over here with the yellow song on and youāll boost our chance to win by like 90% by not constantly throwing yourself to the void/a 6v1. Itās not hard and you can work on those other skills while standing by us.
See even there, I still think Rein is the easier one to pick up because just sitting on heal song doesnāt do a lot, and you do need some halfway decent timing on Amp It Up or itās not very worthwhile because of its duration
I can see the argument, but I just personally disagree
No hero is TRULY hard.
Every thing you need is on an ability and will AT MOST take 3 clicks/button presses to use.
You will not be expected to time button presses like a rhythm game would demand of you except when using Mercyās super jump, and even then, thatās forgiving.
No ability truly punishes you for using them wrongly, you just lose out on the opportunity cost on maybe not having them back in time.
At most youāll launch yourself into the thick of battle too early with GA, or have your mobility restrained like Res.
But no ability will drain your HP or cause you to lose out on ammo, because ammo is infinite and thus isnāt as big of a deal.
