I hope we get hero bans soon because WM can only be countered by another better wm.
Don’t say stuff like " your team can counter her" , oh yeah their team can play and protect their wm like a golden egg.
It’s just not fun for me.
I like playing dps but I can’t click heads good enough from across the map so I guess I will stick to arcade.

The devs already turned this game into trash so why not make it something more enjoyable

What’s wrong with asking for hero bans? How many dps are out there?
I play at master and let me tell you ,running into better wm ,while your team wm can’t deal with her spells a lose for the losing team.

If you liked OW you would not be changing it, you’d be adapting and getting better yourself. Instead you want the game to change to you.

What’s wrong asking for hero bans when roles like DPS have 18 choices. What would it limit then?
There I adapted to 2-2-2 playstyle ,even thought I don’t really like it.
Blizzard can shove down our throat hero bans as well and we can easily adapt to it.
2-2-2 proves they gave up on balance. Not that they were literally ever even passable at it anyways. If a team of people can’t balance 4 DPS comps, they have no business balancing.

To op: hero bans would be even a worse change than Forced 222, and Forced 222 is imo the very worst change to this game ever

And how many tanks and healers are there in comparison? I dont want to wait to get into a game and see the healer i wanted banned.
Second you start dictating what people can or can’t play, thats when they move on to a different game.

This feel like social justice is leaking into games. Everything needs to be “fair” even when it already is. Both sides have the same selection of hero picks. Fair doesn’t mean you have to win.
What you say makes no sense. Having hero bans to competitive game is something that is expected as the hero roster grows out.
except some folks are only comfortable playing 1 hero
not everyone has the luxury of enormous amounts of free time to get comfortable with multiple heroes.

Also about your WM complaint. You do realize you have to be in WM view to get shot by her. Maps are not open fields, use the terrain to your advantage. It’s not that hard to just not go into the line of sight.
No it proves that they actually listen to what the majority of the playerbase wants
“Its not that hard to just not go into the line of sight” - oh yeah man ,but the thing is there are objectives in this game and if you stay in base to stay out of wm LoS then you won’t accomplish the objective.
As for the guy saying “only one hero” then please go to apex and master one hero there where it matters.
Being one trick pony and refusing to switch when the whole team begs for you to do it ,means that maybe Competitive play isn’t for you.
And the only real counterplay to WM is another better WM ,doesn’t spell balanced for me.
The hero roster has most dps heroes by far ,why not implement bans that will affect only the DPS slot?
