Its not unfair, just stupid of them. Play another hero and wait until the people figure out that banning Mercy is a bad idea… well should be a bad idea, but with Soj still broken, it makes sense to ban her.

As for me, it’s very good. Mercy is finally banned. And now it’s more enjoyable to play.

I loved when I played and they banned mercy and my team had a preferred mercy and so he played bap and proceeded to do absolutely nothing.

Exactly, hero bans are going to make players leave the game if they can’t play who they want to play. The game should be enjoyable for everyone. This is not the way.

In that case, just report him for afk. And if he just played poorly, then it’s okay, he will fall down the rank and will play with his own kind.

At least they should consider making another competitive mode where hero bans aren’t permitted. Or have the option to enable it or disable it.

One thing stop using preferred heroes. Although Mercy is a ban candidate no matter what because damage boost.

Played Rivals for long enough and I certainly love bans over there, ain’t changing over here.

Definitely ranks as one of the dumbest things they’ve done… like oh I know what would make this fun, if the opposing team banned the player(s) that can counter their one good player. Awesome. Super great. You suck and I hate you, Blizzard.

OW Team should add penalties to the hero ban system, it’s being misused, banning weak heroes for pure fun and trolling, while broken heroes remain.
Yes, but not being able to play a certain hero while at the same time earning competitive points for a weapon skin is unfair.

Its not unfair, inconvenient maybe. You can get comp points from 6v6 and stadium id assume.
