Lets say OW eventually implements a ban system, which Doomfist hero would you be banning in your games? Or even map bans? Which Paris map would you most often ban?
I actually think it would be a fantastic way to really highlight the most problematic/broken heroes and maps in the game and really fasttrack the balancing as Blizz would surely notice the bias towards heroes and maps being disproportionately banned, as well as providing a way to really shake up the meta game by preventing overly abusable heroes from being in every single game.

I actually like Paris, but I’m well aware that the vast majority of players hate it. For me, Horizon is the worse map, it’s just such a slog for such little reward.

I like that u dissed doomfist but no. No more trashy concepts pls. Role queue has done enough damage.
Made the game playable? Yes. Yes it has. More of this please.
It would also make the game far more pleasant for Tank/Healer mains as the most problematic DPS would almost always be the ones getting the bans outside of broken strats such as the double shields or broken characters like launch Brig.

Then they’ll just resort to the second best meta or second best heroes. Role queue and hero ban never solved anything, it only applied a bandaid to try and make up for a toxic community and a horrible balancing team
You know what I see? I see exploitability. I see potentially unfair matches where players may not be able to play their strongest characters. I see even more potential frustration. I see 0 incentives to make my profile public because of the hero ban.

Doomfist… if everyone gets a ban and someone already banned DF then Widow, Hanzo or Roadhog I guess
Hero : Genji
Reason : Genji mains are always the most triggered, It takes the least amount of effort ( you don’t even have to try ) to P them off. Having their stick wielding ninja banned would just be comedy in motion.
Map : Numbani ( No competition )
Reason : Absolutely hated it since day one. Massive high ground advantage for defenders on point A. Only one way to high ground for attackers ( unless you force your team to run dive … but this is 2019 … nobody does that ).
