We aren’t talking about new player Bronze 5 here… That there is clearly a you issue.
Why do you expect to win or lose more than 50% of your games if a matchmaker is doing its job? Explain. Literally a question that’s unanswerable.

do whatever you want, throw your games if you feel its necessary…but then expect to banned from comp and potentially have your account perma-banned by all the reports of game play sabotage.
just dont come back here complaining you got banned. you wanted it, you got it, and you will have deserved it as well.

50% win rate means you are playing against same mmr players. That mean your games are balanced. Good for you.

Here’s a question… how are you supposed to get better at the game if you aren’t challenged? I understand that matchmaking is a bit of a mess atm, but how do you expect to climb if the games don’t get harder to test your skill? 50% forced isn’t a thing, it’s being placed with people of your skill level.

I never believed the MM being ‘rigged’ or whatever, but if a 50% winrate is forced, how do people climb? Genuine question.
Like at the end of the day, climbing is all that matters. I don’t care if I lose 50% of my games but still end up ranking up.

Competitive is garbage, the matchmaker is broken and everyone knows it as the devs are desperately trying to cover it up, quite pathetically.
I could fix it in less than a month and I would start by sending the current devs on a vacation so they are out of my way.

You realise that the number of players who come to forums or watch streams & youtubes is only 5% or 10% of the playing population.

What people seem to forget is that the ladder (and the match maker) isn’t really intended to be climbed.
It’s simply meant to show where you stand with respect to the rest of the community.
Placing higher on the ladder is based on seeing where you are, focusing on improvement and then coming back later and being placed higher.
No…. He DEFINITELY could not.
I’d be willing to bet that less than 5% of the player base comes to Reddit or the forums.

For me it’s not the fact it’s 50/50, or finding the better opponents. It’s the finding the worst teammates to handicap a team so we can’t be all that we can be.

Fun fact, the more games you win, the worse of a teammate YOU become as the enemies become higher and higher skill. Didn’t factor that, I know for a fact.

Yes, this why I’m unique when I question and pry. I realize it’s a classification system not a leveling up system. Which is unlike blizzard. Blizzard always want you to get to that level 100. But here it’s like you get level 79! That’s it’s… no more no less… 79!
Be happy with it or move on. You might get some folks on their way to 23 and it may knock you down to 78, but keep playing and sure enough you get to that grand ol number of 79!!
Where I am now, pay for coaching seek vods. But I might eek out 80… but lately I paid for coaching and went down to 60!!

won 7 games in a row.

guess WHY exactly it takes 7 wins and 20 losses? because the game force you to stay same Elo. to have small Q times.
and the MMR is the same from gold 1 to diamond 5
the Rank is an illusion, a machine can’t decide how good are you just compared to stats of a certain hero you are now playing
It’s rare when this happens to me (I’m close to winning my 759th comp game!) I might not do as well statistically but stats aren’t the whole game (right?) and I still see my “better” teammates do dumb stuff (subjectively cause the entire team is yelling at them (not me of course)).
Also now that they removed ranks pre-game and all profiles are private maybe I even put dude my “better” teammates. Again my k/d for all characters are above and I mean 70th percentile or more. But stats aren’t everything!
And I guarantee you do even dumber things in your games and more often as you go up. On average, I guarantee your teammates are not at all getting worse. That’s why they’re in the same game as you.
