GM: 10 to 60 mins, or even longer sometimes.
Masters: 10 to 40 mins.
Diamond: 10 to 25 mins.
Platinum: 5 to 15 mins.
Gold: 5 to 10 mins.
Silver: 2-5 mins.
Bronze: 0-5 mins.
Asked people I know at every rank. I don’t know any at GM so it’s from watching streams i got the number. Sweetspot rank for DPS seems to be bronze to gold. Never thought I wish I was bronze -.-

us east i havent had to wait more than 10mins in masters, my dps is at 3700 rn
duo queuing as both dps with a buddy who’s 3400dps i’ve had to wait between 5-15mins
I’m in diamond (on PS4) and longest I’ve had was 7-8mins. I’ve had less than 3min twice. Played about 8 games.
I’m willing to bet a lot of dps mains are exaggerating

From what the game shows,
Dps is 5 min. Never seen more than 10.
Tank 2 mins. Support 3 to 4.
Duoing as different roles can get into matches with 2 min easily.
this numbers are from EU players.
In theory you should queue with tank on your own level rather then DPS that will flex to Rein who is actaully playing like 500 SR below his rank.
I don’t feel any difference in games quality though.
Bronze is awesome. 2 minute tank times.
What are the numbers for Tanks and Supports at different ranks? GM & Masters always have longer times due to the smaller amount of players at that level.
I usually get ~6-8 minutes queues for DPS in Diamond. Not gonna lie, I’d better wait for quality match and I’m fine with it.
Knowing this makes me want to queue for DPS even less. Not because of the queue time itself but because I know I’m not consistent. And waiting that long just to disappoint a team is not worth it.
93% of the playerbase are on bronze, silver, gold and platinum. Anything above this rank do not matter sadly
Diamond, Master, GM and top 500 should endure the 15 minutes waiting times cuz they are only 7% of the population
What blizzard can do is:
Add one diamond player on each team 1 diamond + 5 platinums vs 1 Diamond vs 5 platinums. Strickly being a DPS-ROLE.
Add One master + 5 diamonds vs one master + 5 diamonds etc.
Seems pretty accurate.
on GM elo not only dps have to wait that long.
I saw people queueing for support having 25min queue times.
Go check fahiz last stream where he sits in queue for that long as support.
bronze itself is a pretty smal rank as well.
so technically, the queue times should go up again there.
unless bronze players actually do care more for a good comp than we expect
(or dont dare playing DPS)

in Bronze you have a lot of people with disabilities, older people who know their limits.
It’s not uncommon in bronze and silver for the support queue to be longer than the DPS queue. People love their DPS Moira.
