You know what gets me confused? Everyone with that silhouette icon is a in-game character you can play. Suddenly we have a Maximilien version of that same style of icons. So could this be a hint that at some point we will have him playable in-game? Maybe not hero 28 but possibly 29 or 30. But could it be a hint or am i reading to much into it?

I bet it was accidentally coded in along with hanzo’s scatter arrow buff, when Jetpack cat walked across Jeff’s ultrawide game creating Keyboard. /s

Doomfists Gauntlet was an icon that existed before he was playable so could be very well.
However doubt Maximillien will be the new hero for a fair while before the Tank problem is solved. See Max as just a Support or Defence hero personally

I think he’d be small off tank like Zarya or defense hero though I lean toward defense
I was annoyed by the idea at first, but my sister made some good appeal about Maximilian as Hero 28. I wouldn’t mind, his design has grown on me.

While many believe that this character will be a Defense or Support hero, I’d like to think Maximillien will be a curveball/surprise in the form of the Talon tank people have been asking for. At least to me, that seems to be next logical step but will probably end up getting more waifu fodder and I can roll my eyes yet again. I think it would be an interesting take to have Maximillien as a tank build, either through a proxy or by some unique means such as D.VA or Orisa. The tank roster could really use some help right now. We don’t have a Talon based tank either. Also, Doomfist, Widowmaker, and Sombra all have Talon based skins in the game now that is screaming for a Talon based PVE event. The only thing missing is a Tank or a Healer for said event. “What about Moirah and Reaper?” well they just got an event and they’re Overwatch tagalongs who joined up with Talon. It’s depressing to think that the next PVE won’t be for another year when fans of the game are asking for more so this is all pipe dream I’m typing. More than likely, Maximillien won’t see release until almost a year from now, the Talon event as well and we’ll see more waifu bait come July. The glass feels half empty…
