Help please... icons on forums

Hello, i have 2 accounts, ps4 lvl 1500+ and PC level 6, however forums prefer my pc account for some reason. Iam unable to access my pc account anymore (it was free weekend account) and iam stucked with profile icon - golden Genji forever which is from PC and i cant change it anymore. I want my forum account to represent my ps4 profile icon, like it used to on old forums.

I tried already almost everything, logging out, in, settings… i cant fix it.

Is there any working solution?

I will literally love you if you can help me :grin: Iam sick of this icon.

At this point it’s the ares staple bruh. It’s how we all know your posting. Reading usernames is so overrated. Really tho not sure how to help that sounds pretty crappy.

I hope i dont offend you with my threads, iam always trying to be positive and when not, iam trying to be constructive!

But yeah, this isnt my first post about this :(. Its absolutely nothing serious i know but it really starts to annoy me.

Start up overwatch, pick a different icon, and shut it down.

Log OUT of the forums, and log back in - it will then (and only then) pick up the new icon.

It only checks icon when you log in.

My icon is stuck on the default image as I have only played a few minutes on my PC account and several thousand hours on my Xbox account…

I really hope it gets fixed/resolved soon.

Will try that! So log out now, start ow on PS4, change icon, turn it off and log back in on forums right? Will give it a try, thanks.

unless you already have a different icon set.

then it is just log out of the forums, and log back in.

I was trying that, changing icon on PS4, then logging in and out on forums etc. But it doesnt change the fact it prefers my pc account still.

But i will try these steps in different order, thanks for help :).

Yeah i think so, 2 months back support said to me that they are aware of this issue and will fix it, but iam not sure that happened.

They messed up something when launching new forums but i expected quicker fix because there was no problem on old forums.

for PC accounts just log out of the forum and log back in. do it now…

I am very sorry to hear that you are stuck with your current Icon…
An icon can become your Forum Identity, Even more so than a Name.

I had people Very confused when i switched mine recently, But i came back to the Dynasty one Afterwards.

I have the highest hopes that they fix this issue soon, But for now, Lets just Keep Positive! :smiley_cat::+1: I personally, Like your Name/That Icon.

It all kinda, Fits.

I had this problem a while ago, Back before i got a Computer Strong enough to handle OW, And was stuck with a Horrible icon on the Old Forums…
(I can’t exactly remember, but it was one of those Basic ones you get just for logging in during an Event…)

But yea, I like your’s Currently.
It suits ya!

(I wouldn’t be too surprised at you changing it tho, There is a Tiny bit of hate towards supposed genji mains around here… Lol)
