I play OW on Xbox and the capture system isn’t as high quality as what’s on my tv, so I’m just curious on how I would go about recording 4K/HD gameplay and storing it. (The only thing I heard of were capture cards but idk what exactly they are)
Any tips would be appreciated
There isn’t really any way other than to use a capture card
Search a guide on them or go on youtube.

Basic explanation of a capture card is a device that allows you to capture gameplay footage. If you do a Google search on it, you should be able to find more detailed explanations about what it does and how it works, and can easily find them on Amazon or other online retailers.

Elgato.
My girlfriend bought the HD60s + and that is what we use. Uses a USB Cable that plugs into a PC, and 2 HDMI cords. Can record at 1080p at 60fps.

for 4k, the only option is the 4K60 Pro which will cost you about $250. I believe this goes inside your PC.

Yeah you’d need a capture card, you could get an elgato or an avermedia captur card.
I stream and record my console games on an avermedia capture card.
And capture cards are simply devices that allow you to capture console footage.
Mine is an internal one, so I installed it directly into my PC so my consoles are just plugged into the back of my PC and I simply have to open the software on my PC and the game video and audio is displayed in HD quality.
