hello. please revert the uppercut recovery nerf on doomfist. incase the original value for his recovery was forgotten it was 0.20s. thanks.
I would gladly have RP nerfed too if it means 20m slam back or faster animation cancels

don’t think any other part of his kit needs changes. just revert the uppercut recovery nerf so the ability isn’t useless above diamond.

I would love if recovery times was reduced to a little as possible, but also reduce the loss of air control applied to target.
Seems like a win-win, less CC and Doom is more fluid.
Honestly I’d revert a lot of his nerfs if his passive was reworked.
the air lock is set to 0.6s it’s needed so the target is actually flung up with the uppercut
Target doesn’t need to be stopped in the air, that’s me point. The less CC the better.
they aren’t ever stopped in the air you literally need the air lock for 0.6s for the ability to even function else it would just be a regular upwards boop and you could strafe away completely from the doomfist. it would once again be worthless for it’s intended purpose and would be reduced to it’s current state of just being a finisher for targets that are 50hp and below
Yes, Doomfist targets would be able to control their own heroes. I don’t think that’s asking too much, particularly when Doom can be made more fluid and faster-reacting.

I’m the most advocate for CC nerfs you’ll see in this forum and I got what I got wanted, let’s see if Doomfist has its uppercut revert in 2021.
yes the devs do listen to the plats whining every now and then it’s a real tragedy
And thankfully it isn’t in yours either.
They listen to reason and nerfed the CC monstrosity this game was, you want it back you got compromise and be reasonable.
I don’t need to be reasonable because nerfing the recovery was completely unreasonable in the first place with no real goal other than to please players who can’t react and have the awareness of a potato. Nobody wanted it. Pros were against it. They put it through anyway.
Do you even know how the ability actually works? Do you know how the recovery for it functions? You know it doesn’t have ANYTHING to do with the CC right? It’s just 0.15s of not being able to do ANYTHING and being self stunned because some dev was a incredible genius and decided to cap the character’s skill ceiling by limiting your speed as a player.

If Doomfist is made more fluid with his abilities and kit, then “needing” the target locked in the air for 0.65 seconds, is not needed since Doomfist can follow up almost instantly. Making Doomfist more fluid in terms of reducing recovery would make Doomfist busted. It is a fair trade to allow more control/ fluidity when play Doomfist, while giving more control to the victim/ target to allow more counter-plays.
This guy probably wants the air lock completely removed so you can strafe from it completely and create distance so the pellets will miss and the ability will be useless
