Hello, forumers

Todays Thursday, so I have the next four days off. As for why, in Ireland the Monday is a Bank Holiday, and the DoE decided to give us Friday off too.

Dang that sounds nice. I live in America, but my city has a prominent Greek population. It’s Greek Orthodox Easter this weekend, and most kids going to school in our area have this Friday and Monday off as well. Fun coincidence! I thought you may have lived close by lmao.

Do you live near the Empire State building? (It’s a reference)

The Big Apple, man! NYC! I’d love to go there when COVID’s done. Empire State is the centerpiece of the New York Skyline.

No haha, I was referring to America. Although I am actually quite Irish!

“An lareant tú” = do you speak. Gealge is Irish, Beirle is English.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say you live somewhere in the Northeastern United States (around Pennsylvania)?

Lots of people up there have heavy Irish roots.

Although I may be way off…

You sense Modern Greek my friend.

Benefits of living in a Greek area. Still not fluent, but getting there.
