Game is dying, go play Apex? /s

Apex is dying faster

Ask your cardiologist for a Holter monitor if you can, that way your heart activity can be properly recorded when you are playing comp and after.

You should probably see another doctor. You might have problems with high blood pressure or something.

That’s called anxiety, friendo. It hits me hard too. Can’t even play comp because of it and recently had to stop playing QP as much as well. Instead of a cardiologist, try seeing a therapist, maybe they’ll give you “calm down” pills so you can play without the elevated heartrate.

Actually, 100 BPM is nothing to worry about. Just a little bit fast, but still normal.

Try listening to slower music while playing, slower or lite, but listen in for the beat when you’re playing and focus on it.

I gotta ask, do you drink energy drinks or consume a lot of carbs or processed foods? High blood sugar will do that to you too.

Well it is possible that adrenaline and stuff are just doing their thing because your playing something “stressful” or your body enters in its “combat mode” which increases blood preassure and pumps out adrenaline

I think heartbeat goes at 120 during excersise too, so its normal

Some people who do sports have their heartbeats permanently higher than others

Well, having a high heartrate when you’re in-game and adrenaline pumping is reasonable, but for it to last for very long after you stop playing is not normal. It’s probably not your heart itself though, but something to do with your adrenaline or other hormones. Check with your regular doctor, who maybe can refer you to someone.

Meanwhile try shorter play-sessions. Also try taking a walk after a gaming session … adrenaline encourages physical movement, so it may help your body stabilize again if you do something both physical and calming.

I was thinking it’s due to anxiety of the competition i.e. stress impacting the heart rate. You can do a test by playing Arcade and Quick Play and I bet your heart rate won’t go up as much as Comp. My only advice is moderation for Comp.

If you’re a bit out of shape (like me) you might be having problems with adrenaline. When I really get into the moment and the adrenaline starts pumping, I can quickly feel like I’m about to faint. If this is happening calm yourself down. Stop talking for a bit if you are and just take some slow, deep breaths. For me it has immediately stopped that feeling and I’ve been doing a lot better ever since. Your situation sounds a bit different to mine, but just do your best to calm down for a moment.

3 hours with no break is also a long time, try taking a quick break every now and then. Even if you’re just going to get some snacks, a simple walk to the kitchen and back could be enough.

After reading some other replies, I could see this also being anxiety as well, adrenaline and anxiety are tough to handle together, but try what I said above and see if it helps.

thank you for your replies, my cardiologist had used holter monittor and he said i had nothing to worry about, my blood pressure is normal 120/70. Now after your replies i think the anxiety and my overwheight (15 kg above normal ) can be the reason. Now i will stick to other modes of the game and see how much it affects me. many thanks to everybody

that’s overclocking result
