Healing recieved stat is needed but won't ever happen

because it would hurt the feelings of support one tricks. when they see 99% of their healing is dumped on the tank then they can’t blame their bad dps and actually have to take accountability for their own poor play.

Sometimes all the healing is dumped into the tank, but for every one of those games theres a game with a mercy on an edate with a dps and lucio using mostly speed boost so the tank gets almost no healing

Add a damage received stat as well for when people cry about not getting healed

It’s not needed. A scoreboard as a whole was not needed and ow1 worked perfectly fine without it. I’d be fine with seeing the stat, as there are times it feels like I am getting barely any healing, and it would be nice to confirm. But the scoreboard as a whole has certainly increased people blaming each other.

I would like this stat. But it won’t happen not because supports would hate it but because just like the rest of the scoreboard y’all don’t use it to self reflect you use it to flame teammates. It’s meant to be a fun reference not a concrete way to proof someone isn’t doing well. I’d bet some have said it but if you are out of range/LoS all game you’ll have a low healing received and flame them just because you’re incompetent.

So what happens when your DPS has 5 deaths and a little over 1k damage taken?
Then who gets the blame?

Is it still the supports fault? (Even though that person clearly gets clapped for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, repeatedly)
Doesn’t matter, wouldn’t be used that way. So, no as a whole.

People obsessed with blaming and typing “gg trash supports” in match chat would always find other reasons why them not having fun is anyone’s fault other than their own

Not needed, just like public profiles and showing who plays in stacks aren’t.

It’s only the community wanting even more power and control over other players to display all the toxicity they have in them.

The OW playerbase’s power hunger is out of control… They recently got hero and map bans but it’s still not enough for them, apparently.

The safest way to add this stat, would be in the match history scoreboard, not the live one during the game.

That way you can check it later if you feel that you didn’t get any heals, but no one can flame each other during the match.

Blizzard literally gave us that data from Beta 2 in their own article for damage taken on tanks averaged over 10minutes.

  1. Damage Taken / 10min
  2. Hero Damage Dealt / 10min
  3. Elims /10min
  4. Deaths /10min
  5. Final Blows / 10min

Winston, Reinhardt, and Sigma CHUG healing when you see them taking 21-26k dmg/10min while only dishing out between 7.4-10.2k dmg/10min. They are the one’s with the shields.

Even Doomfist literally the lowest damage taken tank still took almost double the damage he dealt. 6.4k dmg/10min dealt vs 11.2k dmg taken/10min.

There is literally a reason why supports are shoving their healing up their tanks butt. They are so incredibly hard to MISS and absorb almost 100% of the damage people sneeze in their general direction.
