Healers are too good in OW2

They got auto-regen at the cost of nothing. Regen is good idea to game but they should pay the cost.

They should be nerfed because they got huge buff(regen) otherwise 2 tank and 3 healer will be strong trend of open queue.

Maybe if you didn’t use a non-competitive or standard mode as an example you’d have a point.

Open Queue meta in OW1 is quite literally still 3 tank/3 supports anyway. Nobody cares about it.

They have to balance the game. Its basic. They have to do until it ends. Do not give up.

Sure, but the have to balance it for the main game mode, not for the extra bits. It’s not realistic to expect one balance state to serve both game modes equally.

The supports gained regen at the cost of less cc to deal with flankers that counter them, more dps coming through due to 1 less tank(meaning more heating they have to do) and one less offtank meaning less peel available for them.

My expectation was never wrong. All my suggestion was accepted(it takes time though)

They will nerf them for sure execpt mercy. I was korean grandmaster.

Regen amount per second may be reduced soon.

Problems in OW2 until now, which I observed:

  • We have huge power creep. Everything makes way too much damage, especially dps.
  • If your tank dies, you usually lose the fight. This role is so much more important now, it’s insane.
  • If your dps is bad, you lose by default. A good tank + good sup line-up can not compensate this atm. Funny as it sounds, since tanks are so strong, but it’s something I observed very often in my games.
  • Some heroes are too powerful atm, but since it’s beta I expect this to be solved at some point.

The auto-regen is not a problem right now, imho. It will be, when/if the power creep gets addressed. But before that? Honestly, supports need it, so they can be able to take part in this way faster and shorter fights.

They’re probably not trolling. Korean gamers have in general a stronger team mindset, so open queue over there didn’t suffer nearly as badly from the ‘me’ mindset that we’re so used to and thus didn’t fall out of favour as hard. Like, if OW was only in Korea, OQ rules would probably still be the standard.

You know the healing is minuscule right? It’s only 15 healing per second. That means it takes 13.5 seconds to heal 200 HP. That’s how long Supports would have to not take damage for. Cause even 0.1 damage would stop the passive from activating

Even the Payload of most maps heals 10 health per second. Is the Payload OP? Blocks all enemy attacks and heals you? Nerf the payload
