Head hitbox for each hero

Is there any actual documentation for how big each particular heroes headbox is? Because I refuse to believe Kiriko, Sojourn, and Illari have the same size headbox as Mercy, Pharah or Zenyatta (for example).

There was a video somewhere on yt, i dont remember the name but hitboxes are wacky af

There’s an old one that KarQ posted during OW1. I don’t believe there’s been an updated one since

Its not just head hitbox, its movement of the head, head placement and misc stuff like kiris hand covering the head.

Btw all of these things contribute to many of the healers being op i.e kiri bap illiari ana brig etc etc

I don’t have much of a problem hitting Ana or Brig, they’re both fairly slow in one way or another, and larger targets. The three I mentioned feel like they have ridiculously small heads, though, because I have the worst time trying to snipe them as Widow. Sojourn and Kiriko especially are also very skinny, like Tracer, who strangely enough I hit more headshots on than either of them. They just feel off.

For whatever reason, most of the new heroes are designed to be incredibly frustrating to hit. Illari and Kiriko specifically need massive nerfs to their hitbox.

Yes there is…

It is from OW1 so it is a bit outdated. I don’t think anybody did anything on the subject that would be up to date!

You are probably talking about this:

Yet ppl still can’t land their shots. I can’t imagine how much worse it could be if those were accurate with the character models.

Tracer while small has static head movements while soj and illari have more animation.

That said i have not much trouble with hitting their heads when they are strafing only when they use jump animation

making me think of pre-rework Symm and even just when you’re in skirmishes, those leg lifts on the jumps lol

Tracer can duck and weave depending on the movement though, kinda like how Hanzo can still arm-clock his face or turn to move his head, or how Cass can randomly take double damage by Combat Rolling his head into stuff :stuck_out_tongue:
also Ana posture :pensive:

Ana’s hitbox was so scuffed at one point that you could separate her hitbox from her body almost entirely by backpedaling into a wall. Shots could pass right through her

Their is no official post because they dint release official stats look up heros hit boxxes compared to ana and you will see someone did it based on ana being 100 100 for body and head hitbox

It still workes exept for doom

Which heroes do you typically play?

I ask because, I saw a video the other day showing that hit scan heroes like soldier have to aim closer to the head for it to count as a hit, where as heroes like hanzo can be much further off from a head hitbox and it’ll still count as a head shot… presumably to even things out between hit scan vs (whatever the other type of shot is called, I can’t remember off the top of my head) lol

OK, but there are no new heroes there, so it is outdated still :stuck_out_tongue:

Mostly Widow, so I guess I can chalk this up as more Widow struggle.

Wait until you see both models of Dva’s legs
