after people larned how to play against him, hes so poo poo. so many tank counters, his slash perk doesnt help against tanks at all, his primary fire is a tickle gun against them. hes not mobile enough to dive the backline like wiston or ball so i think he needs a straight up damage buff, something to help him against tanks. his wall is fine, his block is okay with perks, but the primary fire is just so aww man, cant do anything with that. his gameplay feels nice, just not deadly enough against tanks.
Hazard is fine, but you shouldn’t force it. If the enemy team switches to counter you, then play something else.

Have you tried aiming to the collarbone ? Dude he can pump 4 fast shots, block a bit, and then throw another 4 real quick. If you are hitting a Tank with that + spikes + perk, thats like 600 damage in 3-4 sec.

The funny thing is that Hazard is still strong but nobody is playing him. Another terrible design like Mauga. They are having real misses on tank since Queen. Mauga must be the worst tank for the game so far. Hazard is close behind. Everyone played him for a season and then just quit playing him even though he only got minor nerfs.
Please learn from you terrible recent tank designs Blizz.

This. Like every tank he has hard counters but also tanks he is very strong against.
Hopefully 6v6 will give him viability in more compositions.
Who are the hard counters? Just curious.
ur right, poor hazard.he needs more leaps and 100% dmg mitigation with his block, maybe more block dmg
rein, orisa, dva, zarya hard counter him. mauga is good against him but still manageable
Orisa and DVa I understand. But how does rein counter him? Surely Hazard can just skip past rein and pretty much ignore him?
And Zarya would be very dependent on her charge as she can barely tickle his block and he can easily get in and out and work around her short range? She would basically have to babysit her supports, as would rein.
korea pros where running hazard or banned him. 
rein is his biggest counter out of them all. his shield blocks his wall and guard, his armor makes hazards primary fire useless (armor hp halves his damage, how fun). plus, rein can just press w, swing his hammer and win. the only thing hazard has for rein is that he can block reins charge, thats it. hazard is pretty much useless against him.
i dont see how you can skip rein, all it takes him is one shift and a long press of his lmb
You can yes, the problem is if his team sticks relatively close, the moment you land your slash, Rein is charging you against a wall.
His jump is not that big, Winston and Dva can straight up ignore Rein, Hazard … not so much.
And if you decide to face tank/duel him, good luck breaking his shield before his team breaks your face. Best chance is isolating him with the wall but its a very risky play.
So you’d want him to destroy everyone in the game?

Does this mean Haz isn’t widely hated and considered super oppressive anymore? 
Counterpoint, no he doesn’t. He’s super strong still. He was the most picked tank in Top 500 last season by a country mile and he did not get nerfed. Perks do change some things but he didn’t just magically go from being the best tank with it not even being close to “needs buffs”.
