Wall, leap that can chain into a slash, has a shotgun, and can climb short walls/ ledges.

Yeah it’s a joke how much they rip off work done by previous generation of devs.
If you look at the abilities of most of the heroes in OW2 they all have a large proportion of abilities that are obvious remixes / with slight tweaks of prior ones.
This dude is barely different to doom except as you say with a bit of mei thrown in and the ability to wall climb.
Plus that ult… eurgh. Not liking that.

These are always my favorite threads to crop up in early days of a Hero showcase. Endless entertainment.
People want new heroes to be continuously added, then at some point we’re gonna get samey abilities.

Hazard advances the the game mechanics in ways we have never had before. That’s the same with EVERY hero release. I remember people whining about Orisa’s release just saying Halt was a grav, she just had another shield, etc. Despite the fact her halt worked different than grav. The shield was static, not redeployable at will.
His block is an AoE attack and functions as a resource not a fixed move.
The leap actually has a mid air attack that you do not get with winston or doomfist leap. It grants a secondary lunge trying to use it.
His wall effect can be stacked on walls and ceilings and hurts other people who attempt to climb it.
His shotgun is the first in the entire game to implement a box spread instead of a circular one like every other shotgun user.
There are plenty of new game advancing mechanics in here that people are so easily dumb to dismiss.
basically developers ran out of ideas and now they just combine characters hoping somehow they make a good character, spoiler, they failed
i literally want them to stop making heroes, the hype for new heroes died long ago, they only mess the balance and the lore, and every new tank aded is another proof 5vs5 dont work and never will, they should focus on what they have, what, they dont trust people will play ow only for the sake of a being a fun game?

The Devs are absolutely laughing at us in a new YouTube short, literally showing us older heroes and basically saying, “anything you can do, I can do better”
Have any of these forum posters design a hero and I could say x, y, z is from this hero! Surprise surprise with 41 heroes there is going to be overlap eventually.

So every tank hero that shields copied rein or Winston got it. So stupid of an argument.
It’s honestly mind blowing how creativity deficient the devs are. Like a 5 year old child can conjure up a design kit through their imagination better than what we have with the hero kits.
