Having issues with error code

Hi Nicole,
Here is the issue:

Overwatch Error Report:

“External software has acquired some video resources from Overwatch, which can often cause problems with the game. Please consider closing any video capture or overlay software that might be running,”

I am not sure what’s causing this. I don’t have any video overlap things… help!

DX DIAG

MS INFO part 1

I can’t paste the rest of the MSINFO. The file is way too large it would need 10 files sizes to paste. I’m currently at like my 8th file size…i just can’t :frowning:

That is not a great sign, but let’s go with the DxDiag for now.

Your new report only has errors for this:

Problem signature:
P1: DellInc.AlienwareCommandCenter
AWCC.Background.Server.exe

The old DxDiag had errors for the Xbox Overlay.

Problem signature:
P1: Microsoft.GamingApp

Xbox Overlay might be the trigger for “Please consider closing any video capture or overlay software that might be running.”

I also noticed that your peripheral (direct input devices) drivers have multiple copies installed.

I haven’t run into this before, but the duplicates could be causing problems.

Thank you. Do you know how I can remove the duplicates? They’re not really being plugged into them as duplicates just on item per port. (FYI, half of my USB ports do not work, i wonder if that has to do with something).

Now i just restarted/refixed, and now the game doesn’t even launch. A new error i haven’t seen before came up saying "OW has crashed int he graphics driver. If your drivesr are not up to date, please consider updating them. " I have the latest drivers and 4080 RTX NVIDIA.

i think i give up on this game.

FYI - World of Warcraft works just fine.

Yep, in the Windows Device Manager.

Edit: Can you upload JUST the Error Reporting section of the MSInfo?

Hello

now my game just crashes with no error. my fans speed up and my cpu usage for overwtach in task manager, rises up to 99% and just aborts game whenever i join game.

i’ve reinstalled it already. updated mobo. etc.

We never finished troubleshooting last time. Can you add what I was asking for?

The game is completely fixed by resetting Windows completely and lowering the voltage.
it’s because i’m using a 13th gen processor and has known issues with blizzard games.

Thanks for reporting back. Shame about the voltage.
