How did you notice that they were hacking? Was it very subtle like a soft lock or completely obvious like snapping to your teammates heads?
I’m on console so I haven’t seen anyone suspect of hacking (it’s probably more rampant on PC) so I just wanted to hear your guys experiences.
Yes a couple of times.
They had either pin perfect accuracy, a really shaky mouse movement without missing, or some obvious wall hacks
ive seen more hackers in the past week since ive been back to the game than i have in my entire years of play.
first it was a bap who was locking instantly to everyone because i was destroying his ana with doom. he made the game unplayable with his cheats and his team was like “All we can do is wait til after and watch the replay” and im like uhhhh no. youre gonna lose the SR anyway, throw the game and make it hard for him like they do in upper ranks. i legit raged soo hard. we won 1 game dominantly on busan and then he turned his cheats on,
the next one was a reinhardt who was aim hacking lol. it looked insane. locking to a pharah in the air with fire strike, doing like a million spins a second but sitll hitting idk weird.
then a sigma locking
Obvious multiple snapping headshots in a row, immediately followed by them leaving the game or getting kicked out.
I’ve seen both snapping and wallhacks.
Snapping just looks stupid in the kill cam, it’s absolutely blatant cheating.
A fool using wallhacks just stands next to a corner and shoots the moment someone begins to turn it. A smart player using walls is just unflankable, but otherwise seems pretty fine. Much harder to spot or prove.
Ive seen like 12-15 hackers and for sure ive had more but i didnt notice. Im counting only aimbotters, because it is very obvius when someone is wallhacking but they are so bad even if they can see al the time through… Sigh.
Well, this aimbotters like half of them were reeeeeeeally obvius. Not missing a single shot. Making 180 and 360 perfect spins with genjis ultimates , even killing pharamercys while flying, this guy got reported hard and was banned in game ( 11 people reporting him at the same time) a enemy junkrat woth aimbot that never got banned… Only 3 of this 15 aimbotters were banned. One of them the genji, another one using bastion, perfect tracking even behind walls, and a widowmaker that was making crazy flicks, obsius aimbot. The other ones were obvius for me, but team just said " uhhh duuurrr he is not cheatin you are just bad" and when i called the aimbotter he said " deal with it" admitting he had it but my team is so s.t.pid that cant see an aimbotter even if they kill them out of spawn constantly. There are rocks more intelligent that some overwatch players. Why none of these aimbotters got banned? Because the system dont works, the only way is the 11 other players to report it at the same time, and when the aimbotter is boosting a premade, thata impossible.
So yeah, blizzard system sucks in every way possible
ive seen 2 aimbotters (several years ago)…more recently i saw a soldier with what looked to me like no recoil whatsoever…
other than that? i havent “noticed” any
Not as many obvious ones but the most blatant one was a doomfist who was able to see through walls.
They can be very obvious or very subtle. The really expensive cheats are more subtle. A lot of cheats in overwatch are missed by most people because they don’t understand the lengths of what’s capable with overwatch cheats. Most people just look for aim bot, but overwatch cheats are extensive and go much further than that.
Yeah I see Sombra a lot, she’s awesome
headshot snapping and tracking hacks, seeing them perfectly track you straight line even from behind not 1 but 3 walls only to headshot you is just sad

The one I remember was an aimboting, wallhacking Zenyatta, who had perfect tracking of me behind a wall

The only time I’ve ever had a hacker in my game was in a free for all game where it was a widow that had such a massively fast ‘snapping’ to peoples’ heads, that it made me go into the replay and spectate them. I subsequently reported them and received a notification from blizz that they had taken action.
Yeah, Hackers tend to be an issue in EVERY online game. Especially when they buy the game for a much cheaper price than it normally costs!
I would like to someday see, when blizzard puts something into the replay ability that gives each and every player’s Hit box Coordinates and allows for removing of level objects so a person can truly go back and watch player movement, without level objects rendered in. This gives a better perspective and makes Cheating much easier to be reported. Otherwise it is speculation.

While I don´t really notice aimbots or things like that, I´ve noticed someone with wallhack. And, well…it was very obvious, mostly from kill cam to see, that person was watching through walls several times… 
last one i saw was a sombra auto-locking even shared the replay code on the forums. i think it was 2-3 months ago, forgot. i dont see them often tho, i only notice the rage hacker types
