Have to Restart Computer Every Time

Every time I exit Overwatch I have to restart my computer in order to play again. When I exit it closes the game window and the battle.net app/client is up and the Play button is grey’d out and it says Game is Running beside it (rendering the play button useless. Overwatch is not running in Task Manager. I also play WoW through the same app and have no problems.

This is my third post regarding this problem. Can someone at tech support throw me a bone, please!?

If it says the game is running, it is running. Try to find “Overwatch.exe” from the “Details” tab in the task manager with more details, and then end the task. I rarely had that issue but using the “Scan and Repair” function seemed to fix it for me.

You may have to reinstall the Blizzard BattleNet launcher (note you do not have to uninstall and reinstall Overwatch for this):
