Havana is the worse map in the game

Such a joke of a map just vault it like you did with Paris and Horizon. Literally the map is sniperwatch andy and especially now with no shields you get to play respawn simulator. Games literally come down to widow diff and if the enemy has a widow and you don’t its ggs.

It’s pretty bad for sure.

I’m a Plat/Diamond player and it doesnt get that bad too often but it’s def a problem.

I’m a WB main so normally snipers are a joke but first point Havana is brutal. No cover or decent flanks to get to the Widow without her team spotting me and hunting me down.

I enjoy that map.

Winston is real strong on Point A attack & Point B defense.

And decent on Point C attack (if your DPS is outplayed by enemy snipers) & Point C defense.

I actually love Havana but I’m used to hugging corners on Mercy/Ana so…

For me it’s not fun getting sniped every second there is just too many open sight lines and nothing you can do about it unless yo go widow

I love Havana. But first point, with snipers… good lord it is hard. You better hope to god that your snipers are just as good/better or it’s unlikely you’ll finish the map.

the only points i dont like when it comes to havana is point A, point B and point C, otherwise its fine

Yeah it should have never gotten out of the testing phase. The imbalance is comical.

I love Havana myself. Can be aweful if defenders have bastion or widow at start. Other than that it’s one of my favorite maps

Havana is second worst map in the game. Gibraltar is by far the worst.

I love those maps.

Winston & D.Va is also very, very strong on Gibraltar.

And I’m noticing a trend here.

I’m liking maps that give big advantages to tanks with verticality & hyper mobility.

Tanks that incidentally can do something about snipers when its’ DPS teammates are being outplayed.

If I was a low-mobility tank who would be helpless if my DPS wasn’t up to par, I would probably hate those sniper maps too.

I don’t mind going Rein or Zarya but when it becomes obvious that my DPS aren’t good, I just go Winston & try to dislodge the highground threats myself.

I wish there was a map avoid option so i could perma avoid this stupid open area map.

I swear nobody realises that you can navigate practically the entirety of Havana using flank routes. Literally there’s very few places on the map you can’t flank.

If you go right you can use the car to jump and piledrive widow on first point, ideally you want a winston or genji to dive with you or a zarya bubble as mostly they would have a support with them.

Funny story: the horrible sniper-favored nature of Havana is part of the reason why sigma was made.

Huge turtle comps were required to resist the sniper spam.

There are so many good flanking routes on attack for Genji that its ridiculous.

But that being said, I understand there’s always that bit of ego where one person has to show they are the better X player

Yep, that’s how I safely get to snipers with Winston.

I get the jump on them when they least expect. Without using jump.
