Dorado and Numbani changes were good
But for the love of god please just get rid of Havana and Circuit Royale permanently

No. Circuit Royale must stay in the game.
I need somewhere to play piano and they already took away Paris.
Iâm so in favor of this.
Take away Blizzard World too.
Aye I love the atmosphere but not the gawdful terrible routes!
??? Tf did blizzard world do
On Circuit I really wonder what is the point of the new door for the attackers on first spawn, which is now on the highground/balcony thing in front of the spawn doors.
It just goes to the room where you can take stairs down and use that old door to the street.
When i saw that new door on preview images I assumed it lead to a new highground opening to the streets or something - that whole thing now feels completely pointless. Quite baffling.
Have a terrible first point to attack, a terrible mid point all around, and a mediocre last point.
They need to rework the first point
The main door is way too hare to push.
You basically are forced to go to the main door.
Going left leaves you at risk against the ennemies in higround and your team cant help you.
And the right flank is so obvious that people always wait for you when you come from this way.
Exactly. The right side requires you to push through the main gate anyways, getting pounded from the high ground and long sight lines near point. Itâs brutal.
Reread the patch notes. All they seemed to be trying to do was to stop spawn camping for most of the changes. Others were to give easier access to high-ground, but the widow wonât be on that high-ground when you get there.
In reality, all they did against widow was block off a couple of places where she could stand. Now she has to stand a little to the side and perhaps wait a few seconds for the enemy to clear the overhead banner for her sight-line. She is still standing 40+ meters away, outside the useful range of any tank except ball,
They are jumping through hoops to keep widow as she is, wasting so much time and resources on these maps, when all they need to do is change widow instead. This will keep going. We will get more map changes because of Widow. They will waste more resources and money on this. They will not âfixâ widow even if it would make the game 3x more fun. They are stubborn and wonât admit that widow is a mistake in this game.
The devs proved that they donât understand why the maps are problematic.
The sightlines are simply far too long and it will never stop being sniper hell until theyâre halved. Weakening some high ground then adding cars and irrelevant flank routes does nothing to address the issue because you still need to eventually cross their sightlines. We needed buildings added to cut those sightlines in half so that snipers canât just stand outside everyone elses effective range playing point and click adventure with essentially zero risk.
Is that really an issue when someone can go up the stairs and force them off of that high ground since theyâre on the way to the point? My perspective is skewed because I play Brig a lot and thatâs the first thing I do.
Only if they remove two maps that you really like as well.
Calling to have something removed that some people like and some people donât is silly and narcissistic
Itâs not all about you
They made changes that werenât even necessary, like changing and replacing the buses around Numbani. Not only did the one bus provided more cover than then weird planter object they replaced it with, but it removed a rollout to highground for Brig who can shield bash up the buses to some high ground spots. And they removed many locations for doom/junk/other mobile heros for no good reason that can no longer land on those spots. They just changed so many things for no reason/the worse.
Havana and Circuit Royal are the same miserable experiences, they did nothing to change Widowmakers most problematic sightlines on circuit and for Havana we only got a change to her most aggressive angle on first push. Iâm starting to think itâs more of a hero issue then a map problem tho.
Havana all they needed to do was block the 2 most egregious sights and add some cars or seomthing for the first one. Instead, they did one decent change to first point and ignored the problem elsewhere, including the other 2-3 insane angles on first point. Go figure.
They came so close with the Circuit Royal changes, but missed the mark on first point imo while neglecting any meaningful changes elsewhere.
I seriously donât get how they donât realise the problem when theyâve been told this time and time again and even seen countless evidence for the fact.
Yes, and no.
Yes buildings.
But not permanent buildings.
Use âBusan: Meka Baseâ Armor Doors
- You know those moving pieces of cover at âBusan: Meka Baseâ, which Iâll call âArmor Doorsâ.
- Literally take some of those, and plonk them down at any part of any map where it makes sense for a piece of cover to be there. And have some condition where the armor door shuts down. (i.e. Payload got near enough to it)
- Update a serverside INI file that gets run at the start of the match. Which allows devs to tweak the locations of these, without even hotfixing the game.
- Start by literally using the identical Armor Door 3d object from âBusan: Meka Baseâ. But later make custom thematic versions of it. For example, Circuit Royale would get Purple Barriers that are seethrough, possibly with some animation on them that suggests Lore stuff.
If anyone actually likes Havana or Circuit Royale they are a total weirdo
Nah just buildings. No map should allow for point and click adventure with zero realistic counterplay.
