Also the white coin items will appear as gold coins if you don’t have enough white ones.
That is ironically a currency for new players. As far as I am aware, it is the only way to unlock the old skins outside of Twitch.

At this point barely, like venture only had the basic recolor skins. But those are cheap so you’re still getting way more credits than you can spend

they’re pretty much no longer releasing launch legendaries. Both Mauga and Venture had zero upon release. Venture didn’t even get an EPIC skin!
Useless currency for anyone who played OW1. Meant to pretend like the 10,000+ lootboxes they robbed still have value.
Also used as a way to pretend that you can still earn stuff for free
I really dont understand it - how much does it cost to hire say 5 3d artists to make a skin each every month… that workload seems low to me, and I know they can afford it with their profits.
Just pure corporate laziness and greed. Why make skins you can earn for free when you can instead put them all in the battlepass or shop?
