Has blizzard made more money so far on ow2 then ow1?
Unless everyone has been buying skins from the Shop while loudly complaining about their price, probably not.
It will after another season or two though.
Considering OW1 had over 40 million players early in its life, and the game was like $40 standard and $60 for Origins edition, I doubt it.

We will know when they gloat about it. Maybe in a shareholder meeting or something.
If it made more money they will certainly point that out. If they dont gloat about it, it means it is not doing well.

I would not be surprised if it has already. People underestimate just how much money F2P games rake in.

They’re impatiently waiting for that very moment to feel good about themselves despite all the negative feedback.
We will know when that happens, they will surely make a big news about it especially for their shareholders.
If this wasn’t stated so far it means that is hasn’t achieved this goalpost. Valve was quick to show how the f2p + hats made tf2 income way more than when it was a paid game.
As soon as ow2 reaches the ow1 money threshold we will know, no worries about that. It just hasn’t reached that yet.
