i dont think hes ever gotten a actual nerf that has been reverted

Next to Reaper teleporting to areas that shouldn’t be accessible, Genji getting nerfed is another Mandatory patch note that’s become so common, you don’t even need to log it.

Genji got two nerfs in October 2022 with one of them having been reverted on accident last summer (but left that way). He still has 250HP and benefits from the increased hitboxes and the reduced health pools of most supports/mobility characters. But he will never be nerfed because he is Blizzard’s special golden boy.
