Has Brig/Bap been meta as long as Lucio/Zen

yet as longest to stay meta at once?

Lucio was meta from August 2018 to May 2020.
Has Bap and or Brig surpassed that yet?

Actually is Zen the longest one? He was meta from the 200HP buffs he got all the way until August 2019.

Actually Zen’s the longest while Lucio is the longest for main support.

For tank the longest lasting in a meta is obviously D.va since she had the same run as Zenyatta tho started a little later.

For dps its Tracer

D.Va always #1, as she should.

It had too many letters obviously

It’s kind of hard to say that. Brigitte and Baptiste haven’t been run in every comp like Lucio used to be. His 30m aura was one of the most busted iterations of a hero in the game, and when the game launched there was only 3 healers so there wasn’t much competition.

idk… on ladder lucio wasnt exactly a mustpick, nor was zen, for all of that time… just really good

Similarly, I think brig and or bap could be considered the same amount of “meta-ness”

I can’t remember how long its been tho

Title idea: Have Brig/Bap been meta as long as Lucio/Zen?

You can add the continuously requirement in the first sentence of the post.

Lucio wasn’t played in Moth Meta. From the time Valk became a thing Mercy was the go-to main support for everything, especially dive which was the dominant meta until Brig got released.

Should change the comparison to a percentage of the heroes’ life or just compare from Bap’s release date onwards, which is obviously going to be Bap/Brig over Lucio AND Zen, but Zen probably still is up there without Lucio

Moth Meta ended in August 2018 where Lucio became meta

My god has it really been that long? :skull:

You’re right of course, and frankly I think Moth meta died sooner than that. As soon as grav/dragon ran it’s course it was pretty much all GOATs all the time.

I for one knew that BB Meta was inevitable.
