Has anyone lost a game even though they were still on point?

Was playing a comp push game on King’s Row (Winter) and we lost despite the fact we had team members on the cart. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, however, in my case it seems the “touching” distance for the enemy team has been severely reduced to the point you must be physically touching the payload’s collider to count as touching.

I’ve noticed this happening as well, they must have reduced the distance that counts as you touching the payload. It’s really annoying as years worth of muscle memory tells me that I can be further away but this isn’t the case anymore

Yeah, this is something that I’ve noticed quite a bit on both sides. It’s pretty ridiculous that you can be on the point and it still not count it. A circle on the ground to indicate what is “touching” would be a real nice QOL addition.

They’ve definitely changed the distance. I’m used to hovering above the payload as a Mercy and now when I do that the timer runs down and we lose.

The server lag also seems to have gotten a lot worse lately. I could understand if it was just me it could be blamed on high ping or whatever. But I will see a team mate or enemy touch point before the countdown runs down or reaches 100%. Then in the replay afterwards they would be like what feels like a second behind what I saw.

What I don’t understand is for me to see them touch, surely that is the server sending me their location. So why didn’t they touch when viewing the replay back?

POV: You discovered first hand what a c9 is

Not really, they have definitely changed how far away you can be
