The entire premise of being a “genre topping game” killer is flawed. Those games got to the top for a reason, and it is always the people making the game that end up killing them.
WoW is not the top MMO god anymore, blizzard ruined it, now it is FF14.
CoD is not the top FPS anymore, now it is the battle royale games that rule the roost.
Will the marvel game, or the one being made by valve kill overwatch? No, blizzard will do that for them.
Not entirely wrong
BLZ fanboys are EXTREMELY delusional - I still remember ppl in Youtube expecting D4 to be GOTY before it was released
Also dont remember the disater that was WoW BFA-SL. 2 continuous trash expansion will kill any MMO except wow
Basically it is already a failed MNC - too big to fall
Do we actually know any of the numbers that you’re comparing here? I see a lot of confirmation bias fueled assumption; it may not be a bad attempt at a guess, but it’s still just that, pure speculation.
I find that silly. It’s a just a game not a career change. Besides trying games at release is the safest way to play new games. That way metas and strats aren’t established and the playing field is more even.
The risk of becoming engrossed in a game and getting drawn into microtransactions, despite not truly enjoying it, often stems from a desire to purchase that powerful weapon just to feel more competent.
We all battle our insecurities, and confronting them helps reduce this risk.
It’s a tough reality, but it’s something many people experience.
How much do you get paid per post to threads like this ?
Do they give you a free battle pass and you need to document daily threads you make for other games you are marketing ?
Only competition right now is Paladins and you say OW has less players than Paladins? Plus most of the Paladins players are on steam while a minority of OW players are on Steam and its still higher there.
