I’ve previously been mid diamond however right now, I’m genuinely hard stuck in gold 4. I’ve duoed and faced plat 1s, gone 5-0, remained gold 4. I’ve gone 5-0 again at plat 1 avg, still just gold 4. I’ve also gone 5-12, still gold 4. I cannot go up or down, why? I can heal bot and put out 32k on Lifeweaver to carry a win, I can play a perfect flank moira and get several quad kills in a single game, my rank DOES NOT change. What the actual F is going on?

Anyways, your stats in games do not matter anymore. Only wins and losses do.
They removed performance based ranking completely in ow2.
Do you play ana or baptiste or kiriko? Those are the strongest supports imo to climb on.

I have a friend who used to be 3300 sr on support in ow1, who to this day is still better then me at support and who is now stuck in low plat no matter if we duo and win most. Ill go up a rank and she wont.
She plays every single support at diamond level, including mercy who i cannot play.
Shes better then me in every regard however im diamond 3/2 from basically season one, previously in ow1 my highest rank at support was 2989. Ill climb and she wont. I got 3 accounts all diamond 3. Hers does not climb higher then plat 3 no matter if i did placement matches on 1 of them with her.
I aint saying i don’t deserve to be diamond on support btw, i am saying she definitely does but no matter how well she plays she cant rank up. Even if she does the exact same playstyle as i do, she won’t climb.
If you play ana bap or kiriko and want me to look at a game and give some pointers to improve upon or get more value let me know, throw me a replay code of a game that was close/no steamroll/smurfs.
I am best at giving advise on ana btw, shes my most played support.
If you want others to give a review, go join ‘spilo’ discord, find his youtube channel, go into his discord server and throw a replay code into the community vod reviews.
Spilo is a ex owl coach and has tons and tons of vod reviews on every single hero across all ranks. Should be helpful to get you some advice. The discord server is filled with nice people.
You can also get spilo to coach you, however that will cost you some money.

Yes, that has nothing to do with your stats in the game. And even in ow1 it was only for people below diamond.

Same story here, used to be diamond, gold 4 now. I can get up to gold 1/2 then big loss streak to gold 5-4. Then big win streak to gold 3 where it titters to 70/30 ish to the loss streak again at high gold.
The game is definitely being harsh. Ever since that season 4 reset in season 5.

Huh? Why make changes, what was seen? What was the desired effect? Changed the ruleset without at least “announcing” to everyone.
Ever since then, sure I kept a 50/50 win rate but I migrate down to gold. I don’t know if I deserve diamond, but making a change like that did I ever?

So I’ll just believe everything Blizzard says without question, despite their track record and my own experience playing the game… You need to update your posts btw, as in their last presentation on ranked they showed 3 rank modifiers, which make it undeniably not based off wins and losses alone, right? I suppose you’ll try to make out like it’s all new 
It’s my account in that video btw. I’m now gold and struggling to maintain a positive win rate like a few people in this tread. So either I’m masters stuck in gold and ranked is broken, or I’m gold and somehow got to masters solo and ranked is broken. Pick whichever you want.

Take everything they say at face value, if there is actually evidence to suggest they are wrong, disagree with them. Otherwise, take it for what it is.

Sorry I miss typed, it does show my ignorance, however jumping from 200 thousand to 20k is pretty crazy!
He is opposite-man since the first day, he is know for be the ultimate opposite-man of the forum, and probably the most blocked poster on this forum, blocked as soon as people understand that there is no point in trying to discuss with a person whose only goal is to be an opposite-man.
