I went and purchased the lightning skin because I’m a Tracer main and like to collect everything. I know the overwhelming majority hate this skin but I still thought it looked nice for an epic. I switch out skins all the time, but wanted to use this new skin.
I’ve only done about 6 matches with this skin, and in 2 of them had people harassing me about it. I’ve never seen people harassing someone over skin until now. I’m not even lgbt so their choice of words didn’t affect me, but it was still rude to see. And a little odd people feel so strongly about this skin they feel the need to say something?
The event is still very new and not many have this skin yet, I’d love to know if anyone is experiencing the same thing. Btw I have every Tracer skin in the game now, very happy

Buying it because you want to have everything for a certain hero is one thing, but why would you equip that abomination? Kill it with fire, before it lays eggs xD

Congrats on getting every Tracer skin. 
But it’s just plain mean to subject people to that eyesore. Sorry. 
It’s even worse that people are as vocal about it but these days nothing surprises me anymore.

Was it FFA? People just get salty af in that mode and will insult you for literally anything. I got called a lesbian the other day for playing tracer lol.

I think it’s a pretty cool skin, the hair looks a little off but I don’t think it’s worth insulting someone over. People can be ridiculous lol

Nah it was quickplay. It’s kind of amusing though people feel so strongly about it. Anyway I much prefer graffiti and the british flag one. But you might get harassed if you use lightning
why? i might say “oh i don’t like that skin” but who’s going to spend their match talking trash about someone’s skin, i hate the hanzo casual and the one he recently got put into permanent lootboxes, but that doesn’t mean i need to insult people because they use it, people are entitled to there own opinions.
I got a few comments about using Winstons new skin from retribution as well. Funny how people care. I actually really like tracers new skin. The hair could maybe use a slight tweak I think. But I don’t think its as bad as people are making it out to be.

I think it would have been better if they did what I saw some other user posted. It was basically the base hair was still brunette, while the tips were just blonde.
Why do you care so much what others feel and say about your skin… Just do tracer things and piss them off…

During a game last night, I witnessed a harassment incident of a player using that skin and it’s wasn’t pleasant either.
Four other players were saying so many homophobic slurs to the player playing Tracer. I kinda wanted to mediate the situation so we could focus on the game, but I bit my tongue on this one.

Who cares? It’s their opinions? Doesn’t make them right in any way so why bother being mad? Just ignore them and use the skin if you like it. Why even care? It’s just a skin.

Yeah I don’t think it’s harassment worthy… the skin has an interesting hairstyle to say the least but the rest of the skin looks nice actually. Cracking jokes about the skin is one thing but being hateful or angry toward it really isn’t warranted

I’ve had a lot more people make nasty comments about me using my Tracer NYXL. Just because I like it doesn’t mean I’ll be a SBB god Tracer.

I have been using this skin all day and no one has harassed me about it. I had one guy say “oh cool you got the new skin” but that’s all.
I didn’t like it at first and bought it just because but I am starting to really like it.

By harassment do you mean “Eww the new Tracer skin” because I don’t think that’s necessarily a dig at you, more of a dig at the designers.
Honestly I quite like the new Tracer Skin hair and all.
I usually used Posh so this is going to be a nice change of pace for a bit.
