Hanzo vs Widow (Not a sniper)

  1. Hanzo’s bow get faster to 250 HP.
  2. Hanzo’s bow is silent compare to widow’s gun.
  3. Hanzo won’t slow down while charging his bow.
  4. Hanzo’s mobility has a shorter CD than widow’s.
  5. Hanzo can be easily played as a hit scan every 10 seconds using his storm arrow.
  6. Hanzo’s hit box when shooting someone is noticeably larger than widow’s.
  7. Hanzo has all off the advantages of a non hit scan and hit scan combined because his arrows travel fast but aren’t hit scan.
  8. Hanzo has widow’s ult (but smaller) every 12 seconds.
  9. Hanzo can deal more damage with storm arrow than multiple charged widow scopes at the same time.
  10. Hanzo is a 3 star and widow is a 2 star even though Hanzo is easier to play.
  11. Hanzo has an advantage when in low-mid range because he’s a no-scope “sniper”.
  12. Hanzo’s ultimate charges faster (even if by a little).
  13. Hanzo’s spray is more accurate than widow (storm arrow compared to no scope).

Delete Hanzo already.

Before posting about hanzo’s mobility PLAY HANZO because he definitely slows down a considerable amount while he has his bow drawn back.

I am of the mindset that Hanzo is OP, too, but you can’t simply state his strengths without mentioning his weaknesses compared to Widow:

  1. Widow is a hitscan, Hanzo’s is an arcing projectile. Widow benefits from more precise aim.
  2. Widow has an assault rifle mode for close-up engagements and shield breaking. Hanzo only has his bow.
  3. Widow’s grapple can move her farther away and faster than Hanzo’s lunge, even though she has a longer cooldown.
  4. Widow’s grapple gives her fast and high vertical movement or horizontal movement.
  5. Hanzo’s wallclimb is considerably slow compared to her grappling hoop and his lunge does not move him as horizontal or to new ledges like Widow’s does.
  6. Widow’s strongest shots are not on a cooldown tied to an ability, while Hanzo’s is (storm arrows).
  7. Shooting aerial targets is much easier as Widow than Hanzo.

Again. I think Hanzo is overtuned, and once GOATs is done, we’ll see him being rampant again. But…he’s not 100% better than Widow. There are aspects that she excels at that he can’t.

im pretty sure hanzo does walk slower while charging a shot.

Hanzo is not Hitscan.

If you are constantly moving even a perfect shot from Hanzo can miss at long range That is the key difference

  1. It’s true. It takes 0.75s for Hanzo and 1.025s for Widowmaker, but it’s way harder to aim with him on bigger distances than with her. It’s easier on shorter distances, though.
  2. True.
  3. Not true, he is slower while aiming.
  4. True, but also his mobility allows him for much less than Widowmaker’s.
  5. Not true. Also, Widowmaker can be played as a hitscan all the time.
  6. I really don’t know about that one, to be honest.
  7. That also means he has all the disadvantages of a hitscan and projectile, right? Just a slight movement from an enemy you’re aiming at, after you click, makes it a miss.
  8. And Tracer has D.Va’s ult, but smaller, every now and then. Why compare two abilities that only has a little in common?
  9. True.
  10. I don’t think that stars reflect only the mechanical skills needed to play a hero, but also the complexity of the kit. Widowmaker’s kit is super straightforward, and there’s not a lot you need to understand to know fully how it works. Also, how does it even count towards “deleting” him from the game?
  11. He also has less tools to avoid damage. His mobility kit isn’t as good as Widowmaker’s, when needed to retreat to a safer position while being attacked.
  12. Yeah, true. His ultimate builds way too fast.
  13. Well, as far as I know, he has no spread at all (may be wrong here)

So yeah, the reality isn’t as horrible as you paint it. And I really dislike Hanzo, so don’t tell me I’m biased, please :stuck_out_tongue:
