Can someone tell me…why Hanzo a Japanese man only speaks English…Kiriko and Genji have voice lines in Japanese, its part of them and its amazing. Did Hanzo forget how to speak it? Each hero has their language in their voice lines…Hanzo nothing, its sad.
I don’t understand why this great linguistic importance at any cost, frankly. I mean, I don’t seem to see rein speaking much German, nor Torbjorn speaking Swedish, and it’s never been a problem for anyone.

I guess “RYUU GA WAGA TEKI WO KURAU!” must just be a very heavy Wahlberg-style Bostonian accent, huh?

Because the voice actor can’t speak Japanese.
His voice actor is Japanese-American, not native Japanese like genji’s.
