He has so much utility in the form of sonic arrow and DPS in storm arrow. They could shift the power away from his oneshot and build upon other areas of his kit. Widow NEEDS a one shot. Her smg and venom mine are too pitiful for her to not have it. Hanzo on the other hand, just doesn’t need to have it. Period.

His one shot is fine, SA needs less arrows or can’t crit. I main him in DPS, and SA is where I’m just absolutely ending anything near me, or daring to contest me.
He already can’t one shot 250+ anymore, and it’s killing his identity. Leave the guy alone already.

Hanzos one shot is more toxic than roadhogs three shot combo because hanzo can just spam it. Hog had his on a cool down

Idk why this community hates snipers so much, I think the annoying thing about hanzo is just spamming & it feels awfully close to ow1 days with storm arrow, shooting randomly around a corner.

“Spamzo” are bad Hanzo players. When you go against a good Hanzo player you are amazed by the shots they can pull off from off angles you’d not expect.

he was based on the TF2 sniper optional weapon known as the huntsmen, with widow being the base sniper rifle.
Also note they can do another bowman style character if they really wanted to, theirs several different types of archery then just that which the Japanese practice.
Hanzo is a projectile hero, that’s a great downside if you compare it to Widow. This means if you are aware of where is Hanzo, especially at long ranges, you can dodge his arrows. Most of the time you got killed by “random headshot” is actually bad positioning and low awareness. Check any top500 or OWL game with Hanzo and you will see that there is almost no random kills just because everyone have better positioning. Also, try playing Hanzo yourself and you will notice that landing headshots even at targets running straight can be pretty hard.

Spamzos are real though and they DO get kills through random luck.
I mean, if it was only really good Hanzos that got to do awesome things i don’t think anyone would be complaining.
The Spamzo random luck 1 shots need to go.

Define Spamzo, because spamming chokes and getting all these free kills is not happening in every single game like people try to make it out to be.

Roadhog doesn’t have a 1 shot on cooldown.
He just has a crutch to make it easier to 1 shot on cooldown.
Roadhog’s gun does 150 and hanzo does 125.
Hanzos advantage is being able to do it at any distance.
It doesn’t matter hanzo can still one shot from almost all ranges and spam it endlessly. Roadhog could do his three shot combo every 7 seconds because his gun is pretty bad and needs the hook to accurately get eliminations and also had a really slow firing rate with huge spread. Hog was also really bad a range.

Don’t bother with him. As soon as he loses his so called argument with you, he starts insulting and trying to gas light you.
Just mute him like I did.
Its because overwatch makes you leave cover to play objectives. snipers also limit where you can go and that makes the game less fun for people

A hanzo player that fires arrows without aiming correctly and still gets one hit kills. This can be through lack of aiming skill or through firing at the choke. It can even be a hanzo that spends the entire match missing shots, then gets a single good shot in which is then perceived as luck.
It doesn’t even need to happen in every game. When a random arrow 1 shots you its memorable, annoying and can lead to an undeserved team fight loss.
They shouldn’t exist at all, regardless of how common they are.

The problem is Hanzos lack of a weakness. He needs a bad effective range.
Pick one.

Except Hanzo didn’t have 600 Hp AND self-heals for 300 hp + 50% damage reduction AND the ability to OS.

He isn’t. He is really inconsistent at long ranges. You can literally react and evade his arrows if he is far enough away. So saying he is good at every range is just false.
