Hanzo cannot be both a tank buster and a sniper, he needs a weakness beyond his low mobility

Hazno: Tank Busting Sniper
Hanzo is less broken in play than on paper, but the amount of impact a skilled Hanzo can have in a match is devastating His ability to 1 shot a Moira if he manages to get a head shot can quickly grant a key pick and lead to a won fight then he can flood Storm arrow into a tank eliminating tanks at almost the same rate reaper can but at range. This also results in Hanzo having a fast building ult to compliment with Zarya’s graviton (another fast building ult when in the hands of a good Zarya).

Removing the reward for getting a head shot on a sniper (especially a projectile sniper) would lock them into being a throw pick (even in top tier games). Likewise removing the burst damage from a tank buster would make them far too weak to be viable. Hanzo needs to be given a solid role either as a tank buster or a sniper.

  1. Reduce the damage of Storm arrow
This is meant to reduce the tank busting aspect of Hanzo’s kit, while refocusing him into a sniper with a bite for flankers. Storm arrow fires 6 shots at 70 damage each meaning they have a maximum damage of 420 more than enough to pick off a flanker, or do a serious number on most tanks. Reducing the damage would reduce its ability to melt through tanks (60 damage per shot for example would cap at 360) still giving him more than enough damage to defend himself against heroes like Tracer or Genji.
  2. Revert Storm bow’s projectile speed
This would reduce the sniper aspect of Hanzo’s kit retooling him into more of a ranged tank buster. Storm arrow would keep its speed of course but Hanzo would have to come from unexpected angles and flood storm arrows into targets before they’re able to pin him down.
  3. Reduce ult build up
If neither of the other 2 ideas are suitable, then reducing the rate Hanzo builds Dragons is essential, it pairs too well with Graviton and is far too easy to obtain for the Area denial and kill potential it offers.
