Developer Comment: The increased projectile speed Hanzo received in his rework ended up making his arrows too good at longer ranges. Decreasing the speed will reduce his sniping capability while still keeping him strong at mid-range."

I thought the arrows were too fast compared to old hanzo when i was playing this game say a year ago so i went archive digging in the patch notes. The above information is directly pulled from the Playoverwatch site in their patch notes area.

Personal Note I think they should lower his projectile speed down by 10 considering the difference between old hanzo and new one is lung and Storm Arrow is more consistant than scatter arrow. I think with lunge in here they can safely lower his speed a touch and not kill the character.

I think they should quadrupple his arrow speed. But nerfs his dps by 33%.

LMAO, Hanzo is fine now and doesn’t need anymore changes for a considerable time.

His arrow speed was actually reverted and doesn’t need any more reduction. The patch notes are just misleading
